well iv had this fonr for 2years now and its bin good so far. thinkin of changin it soon tho as its gettin out of date! if u want to change the display pic, go to settings, display settings, wallpaper and then choose what image u want on it otherwise just takin a pic then trying to set it as wallpaper turns off the fone. good luck

this is my fone for almost 2 yrs and its ok... but im planning to buy a new phone

well, its IR works just fine, just set the speed of your IR device to the limits of this cell phone, eg, i set it to 28kbps and it works great.

nokia 7250i is a very cute phone but i dont know if the infrared is just for fancy. it doesnt work. and i find it difficult to trnasfer from other phones via infrared

I cant connect my phone with my pc, using the cable dku-5. this cable working with to the windows xp? apears not.

jus bounced mine and smashed screen...
know any cheap replacement displays and also step by step to transfer phone memory address book to sim card - with broken display...

The Nokia 7250i is a handy and sturdy nokia, this is my first new nokia since the 3210,which i had from 1999 till 2004 and its still alive and working fine.
The nokia 7250i was agreat step up , though it lacks in some features such as 4 channel polyphonics instead of 16 channel like a lot of phones in its class, so some polyphonic tones dont sound quite as good on the 7250i
The camera quality is also not all that hot mainly due to the small resolution of the images.
The infrared option is also a joke as you can only send business cards so when your pals are sending pics and tones you just have to sit and get nothing.
it may sound like i am griping but there are many good features of the phone, one of which it is well built and can take a knock 3 or 4 big drops so far and it still is working fine with no graphical hitches. the phone is easily connected to a pc using a dku cable and the nokia pc suite which is the best pc/phone software i have used NEC's software is cack.
the memory is great I have about 12 java games installed and about 150 tones and it still has room. A great hard wearing nokia if it lasts as long as the 3210 i cant go wrong.
The only alternative i would consider would be the equally excellent nokia 6230

This phone is the best! I don't care about camera, I just care about a reliable phone. The 7250 rocks here, especially with the cool looking case. Granted its an old phone now, but its just like my old V60, dependable, good looking, and reliable.

I've been using this phone for about 1,5 year, and I still like it.
But there is something weird about it. Sometimes when i want to change wallpapers the phone shuts off and then turns on again, like it has to reboot or something. The wallpaper then can't be changed untill te current one is renamed or deleted.
Does anyone here know about this problem?

Best phone.
I have it and i'm very proud of it.
It is small and great.
The camera pictures are excellent you can put them as wallpaper.
It has infrared and you can send pictures, tones, games or something else via infrared.
The battery life is long.
Trust me buy this phone.
IT'S THE BEST.

I like the nokia 7250i , especially it`s design.The only thing I regret is that I can`t send or receice ringing tones or images via infrared....
