I bought this phone and it had the old firmware on it, version 3.24. That had several bugs, such as the screen turning off when it rings sometimes or when you play a ringing tone. You could not put a full phone number in divert. Answering calls sometimes hangs up the phone etc.
I brought it to a Nokia service centre and they upgraded the firmware to 3.27 and now all the problems are solved. So, it seems that the firmware is the most important thing here,

you wont have any problems if you have the software 3.27. To check it press (dial) *#0000#. check ver.#.
I just recieved mine today. I love it. You get lots of stare from people, and i love attention! So, if you wanna be the center of attention when on ur cell...this is the phone to get. Very convenient and light.
Very squeaky tho. Especially the slider earphone part of the phone. You can choose not to use the slider up and down (just use the green button to accept and red to end.
This phone is totally outright awesome! The best phone in the market...style wise and looks.

Nice phone, have had it for 3 months, but just found out that when i load MP3 ring tones, then the calls becomes inaudible. anyone facing the same problem?

i think that this phone is cool but at the same time stupid. i think its cool because it looks like a ipod shuffle and tats neato. what i dont think was to smart was the fact that you made it look like an ipod shuffle because if you ever get it stolen then people think that they have taken an mp3 player and not a cell phone and i think a cell phone is more valueable than an mp3 player becuase you can do more with a celluar device than an electronic device.

i bought it for 2 weeks with the software version 3.27 no problem at all. i really love this fone. so cool.

just got the phone and i love it! the scrolling is a bit much but hey it works... got it for 230usd and thats a steal so i couldnt pass it up.

I LOVE MY PHONE! ITs so sexy.. stylish.. looks great with all my designer purses.. textin can be difficult but it does have t9.. if anything ill just pop my sin card out and put it in my panasonic g70. The camera is great! reception is awesome! just having a hard time to download ringtones right now..

phone is cute, stylish. but screen is small, difficult to text. it is also expensive over at singapore here. juz go buy a lipstick instead.

well... the phone is the bomb!! itreally rocks .. but as 1 person said texting is something u'll have to b patient with but it isnt really helpfull if u r in an emergency but the phone is really nice its very sexy and im happy i got it cuz im pickin up on it very quickly

Absolutly SUPER! All the others are the same, it works perfect it looks owsome.
All those who cant txt with it, I advice to look for a dokter and have the working of your fingers checqed, it just takes time to get used to it, but it payes, not just another cow in the hurd.

Go on and buy it if you wish to take 5 mins typing a sentence like "I LOVE YOU" and you could like go mad if you're in a hurry..

To Me: Whenever you have to input text your countrys alphabet is shown in a endless row on the display with a cursor. You input caracters by selecting the caracter you want with the dial on the phone an pushing a button to accept it. Your selected caracter will then be added to the sentence yuo're writing and you can select the next caractor og space.

My opinion about the phone is that it is not realy worth the price. I had to make a choice which phone I was going to buy a few days ago. The choice was between 7280, SE and N90. After reading all the reviews I could and trying the phones I found out that the N90 is by far superior and bought it. The difference in price between the N90 and 7280 is not that big (at least where I live, only 164 Euro or 204 US dollars.), but the difference in YES design, features and performance is very big.
Why pay so much money for a phone that has a nice look but does not have the features or performance to match the price by far.
My opinion is that if you can afford to buy the 7280 then you should be able to also afford the N90. And if you are going to spend so much money on a phone then at least buy a phone which does what it does good.

hi guys, i have just found out about a bluetooth keyboard that nokia has released. this will help you with the texting. contact nokia if your interested in the keyboard or just stick it out with the turntable. :)

its a great phone but its good just to answer the phone calls or read text messages but not to make phone calls or compose text messages.

if it's hard to text then make a call anyways you can afford to buy the phone, and if texting is kinda difficult bring your yaya and ask her to txt it for you to be more classy and trendy,nanny with the sophisticated phone..

This fone is absolutely rubbish, i found it to be aukward to txt on and even store numbers. Looks ok but if you could not afford this phone just borrow your mums lipstick and pretend you have on as most people would not notice the difference. over and out peeps

dont buy it! it might look cool but the features aint! ITS CRAP!!!!!! its expensive but the features sucks! and,.... theres no video recording! and,... it will take u ages jst to ryt a simple word lyk hello, etc! ITS JST Crap!!!!
