Guys i need some serious help here.lol First of all i just love this phone cuz its all fashion and stuff I love show off fones. Now I think im goin to buy this phone very soon, but im not sure where to buy it? At nokiausa.com this phone is like 599.99 i know maybe its more secure there but if anyone could help me with some other website that is secure so i can buy it cheaper. My story is a must have fone. Come on man this phone is worth it who cares about the vga camera anyways are all the same. The style is great. Fm radio 100 mb bluetooth i mean ill buy it just for the style. We are all different so u know fashion ppl should have it. Peaceee ouuttt !

i've heard stories about this phone, some good, some bad. i have sold about 5 of these phones and i've had 2 come back as elf (Early Life Falure. i know that if you text alot then this phone could be annoying is this true? any feedback that anyone who owns this phone would great and thanks to those how have already left feedback.

is it possible to play mp3 thro a headset rather than loudspeaker. and also to play the m3p's one after another without havng to scroll and select them. would be useful to use when traveling. also where can a buy a new headset, ive lost the one i got with the phone.

i think u need to sent the phone to service center..
my 7280 battery can last me 3 to 4 days even i'm a heavy user. i can talk for hours and the battery still last. speakers are good also. even ringtone is good.
so i think maybe yr set maybe is 1 of thousands that have so much problems.
as i got mine with a friend and our's doesn't give us problems at all. and we are loving it alot...
send yrs for repair... i think... good luck!

been using this phone for 1month plus. is good, camera,bluetooth,volume,battery... everything is excellent! i love it alot... most people saw my phone and ask.. "what's that... phone?? cool..." makes me feel differect. best phone!! trendy!! =)

Ive had this phone since january. I have NEVER had the problems that some of you are talking about. Battery life is amazing, the screen is amazing, bluetooth is excellent and ive never had any problems with it not working.

I'm really dissapointed in this phone. I think the further nokia go with the appearance aspect of their phones the worse their reliability becomes.
My boyfriend bought me this phone a week ago BRAND NEW and it already had issues worse than my other phones INCLUDING older nokias that had literally fallen 2 stories onto hard tiled surfaces (among other hard knocks and drops) - these phones work better than this one.
First day i got this phone and tried to talk on it and the other person couldnt hear a thing i was saying (even though i could hear them) i tested it with my other phones and sure enough the speaker just wasnt working - so i tested it with the handsfree and it worked ... i had to use the handsfree all the time for 2 days until it decided to start working (?).
The battery life is pathetic. I have to charge it every day regardless if i use it or not - and i dont have any settings selected that will drain extra battery power.
The bars drop up and down so you never know when it is REALLY low on charge ... until it turns off.
It freezes ... i can't do anything with it, and sometimes the only way to un-freeze it is to plug the charger in (and i cant do that when im not home) but that only really enables me to get it off the current display its frozen on ... after that it just freezes again. It wont even let me store numbers because it freezes.
Some numbers that are saved in on my sim card the phone doesnt even recognize anymore.
My boyfriend called me but only his number showed up instead of his name so i answered the phone not thinking it was him ... and in my inbox it doesnt recognize that txt messages are from him either (as well as other people i have saved in my sim card).
Aside from that the screen is tiny, no keypad is a pain, sound quality is bad, volume level for certain features is pathetic, the in-built battery only means it will cost more in the case of having to replace it - battery is teriible anyhow, you can't change the display font colour or size so its impossible to read the time and etc with most wallpaper, and, come on ... what nokia does not have any games? (ha ha) ... but i would have had tolerance for all of this if the phone was actually reliable.
I'm taking it back.
Really the only good thing about it is its looks but then again i have a VK Mobile which is the coolest phone looks wise and its such a good phone. Never gave me any problems and i've dropped it so many times lol.
Really wish i didnt give away my Nokia 3610 -that phone was awesome (and doubled as a torch lol - it was so bright).
I guess my conclusion is - LOOKS ARENT EVERYTHING.
Advice - DO NOT buy a 7280

I bought this phone in january and after about 5 days the screen stopped working, (screen problems happen a lot on Nokia phones, remember the 8210 and 8310 problems?) i took the phone back and got a refund. But still inspired by its charm i bought it again but with newer software, and it works fine now. i think the problem is that companies release their phones as too quickly without testing (2001 release of 8310 in UK 10,000 were recalled) and its a problem like with Motorola and the V3, same problem. But anyway its a hot phone, but in Spain where i live although you can buy the 7280 not a lot of people know about it, so when you're talking on the street people think you are talking to a MP3 player hehe. It's a cellphone for 'those in the know' here.

I bought this phone only a few months ago and am still as in love with it as I was then. Loads of people ask me if it annoys me not having a key pad and the whole 'omg the screen is so small' wears a little thin.
But this is the honest truth- you get that used to using the wheel instead of keys and especially with predictive text when writing sms's its JUST as fast.
I've never had any problem with mine freezing or switching off for no reason so i've got no reason to complain. I love the fact that soooo many people say how cool it looks so it's an attention seekers dream!
10/10 (and it has a mirror too! what more could you ask for!) ;)

I got this phone about 3 months ago, the design is great and everyone comments about how it looks, OK so the lack of keypad was annoying to begin with for writing txts but look on the bright side just means you spend less money on txts!
What is really annoying me is that within two weeks the screen keeps freezing, about a month ago the phone started cutting its self of and one morning last week when i tried to turn the alarm off the phone just kept vibrating. No one can tell me that's normal.
All i'm trying to find out is that other people have this problem so my phone company don't try to fog me off with a 'it's the first i've heard of this happening' line.

I totally agreee with Lazarini - Using the Buletooth for 1 file of 400kb killed 1 bar - But over all I'm happy with the phone - Battery life sucks!!

Ouuu another question i just remembered , how do u know when the phone is charged if the unit is switched off ? Cant seem to figure that out :(

Hi got this phone for my girlfriend used but in good condition with all that came in box. Im using it curently and i have spoted some things. First my battery indicator is realy funny it drops from 5 indicators to 1 in one day all of the sudden and reports battery low . i switch it of and on and it haves me 4 indicators works for another day then again the same . so i did a little test when he submited on second day battery low i have put it on headset radio on and speaker on only to find out that it coud styl play for 2 hours of radio without any problem ? So in my oppinion it batery ia ok just indicator is not correct , also i have found out i have one of the first firmwares installed coud this be problem ... please reply looking forward to answers ... regards

this is such a cruddy phone!! seriously the screen is like the size of my thimbnail what kind of a person buys a phone without a key pad? seriously ppl buy a nice cheap phone! why spend sooooo much money on soemthing that will probably break after 2 mins cuz its soooo delicate?!! give da money to charity and help feed some kids who really need da money i mena come on!

I think the appearance of the phone is very attractive and unique, but the battery life is too short having to charge it everyday. But the no keypad function, you get used to it, it's not that difficult.
