as from today they have this mobile in both colours for sale on the nokia website!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st. there are some good sellers on ebay & some good mobile phone web sites on the net, i always use ebay sellers with 100% feedback or 1 of 3 web sites to buy my sim free mobiles & i save ££££ this way, i never have any problems & you can still take to the carphone warehouse if it needs repairing in the future cause they are a nokia repair center, if you buy from the carphone warehouse you will pay a good £100 more!!!!
2nd. the dim screen is not that bad, its slightly dimmer than other nokias i have had but its not as bad as its made out to be here on this website!!!!
3rd. if any1 wants to know which uk websites i use that are fast & reliable then just ask!!!!
4th. all mobile phones have problems that people don't like, there is no such thing as a perfect mobile otherwise the mobile company's would go out of bussiness!!!!
5th. i don't know what this thing is in the box people keep asking about, i never got 1. in the uk box you get, mobile, battery, charger, 125mb card, headset, manual & silver strap thats all!!!!

To correct the problem of dimscreen is improving a new firmware. The new firmware must have a choice to use or not use a sensor that control the brightness of the screen.Can Nokia do?

i live in the uk and i got it from vodafone. its only on contract atm tho.

When there is plenty of light,the brightness of the screen is increased due to the sensor 7390 has.I haven't test it yet in sunlight,but i don't think you will have any problem.

it is dimer than the other nokia phones i've had but i don't find it a problem for me. i would guess this is to save battery power & make the battery last longer

you can buy this mobile for under £250 of ebay cause thats how i got mine. i picked a good seller with 100% feedback & recieved mine the next day, its also a uk mobile so comes with the 2 year warrenty. if you join ebay & want to know which seller i used just ask.

I'm not sure whether to get this phone or the sony ericsson z610i. Atm I'm leaning towards this phone, but the z610i is a lot cheaper.
I might be willing to wait a while for this phone to come out cheaper and in more shops as it is only available in some and is around £300+.
Would it be worth my wait?
Julie's review was helpful but has everyone found that the z610i scratches easily? If so i'll wait for the 7390.

Julie if you take the back of the fone and look on the right hand coner theres a wee hole to put the strap on. u need to take the cover of the phone first of all and put it thru the hole.

hey all, i checked out 7390 dummies, the color of the casing is quite awful. however the picture of the original shown in the web is great. i wonder if the original one is good, does the black one comes in a dove black (kind of greyish) or absolute black?? thanks a lot
