Are people forgetting that this phone is capable of broadcasting television in the near future? Don't neglect this fact, with the DVB IP datacast, this phone (if you can call it that) is the device to be beaten with widescreen. P900? B'ah! Nice, but it's a piece of shit next to this and by the time this comes out, it'll make the P900 obsolete and old. Nokia overall, better than Sony Ericsson and Motorola in every way. Besides, you have to see this phone in person with the white and yellow fascia which in my opinion, looks a lot nicer than the colours we are exposed to in the picture. By the way people, 7700 is a portable TELEVISION, don't fail to mention this.

Lets say i can live with the dull design, but looking back at the standby performances brings back sad memories about carrying a charger in your pocket... When the f*ck is that gonna change ?!?! Dammit, it's been 10 years now, change the stinkin technology...

Why would Nokia want to kick the backside of one of their own products? Anyway, the majority of the N-Gage target market would neither need, nor be able to afford the 7700..

Being a Nokia hater, I must say this is a good phone. Who cares about size, it's the same size as your palm and is slightly flat. I guess you'd have to see it in person to truly appreciate it. 7700 is a first in Europeans markets bringing Television and mobile together. This isn't a phone at all, it's a very hi-spec PDA beating some of the top end models. It has everything, it's the best Nokia and should give Nokia even more mainstream attention than they deserve. Expect to see this in a couple of hot shot movies such as the next James Bond or XXX.

The design is good if they added Ngage games/compatibility and shoulder buttons on both sides this would make it an excellent gaming phone that kicks Ngages backside

This phone quite good, first media device !!!...
But it can't record video and doesn't have infrared port, but has bluetooth too(share data phone to phone/comp) !!!
Maybe one day, NOKIA 7700 can record video with upgrade application/software !! (like N3650 can record video with audio)

this is the best ultimate phone ever! i just wonder why it is so big? cant they make small powerful phones? one of the aspects phone lovers like me look for is its weight and size. style isnt everything. mobility is a must! thats why i always have my t68i whenever i need it. N7700 will make it big if the price is fair to the consumers! unlike the SE P900 which is very expensive crap! ill go for P800 theyre almost the same! hu cares about the 65k color screen duh! 4096 is just as good. hope 7700 will be affordable to us filipinos! Mabuhay! ;p hehehe.

It's not a handphone, and price'll be the most high-end. What did you except from Nokia? N6600user! Ferrari is owned by Fiat. And the leader is McLaren, not Ferrari. If you talk about brands, don't mean pilots.
