well i have been using this mobile/pda for 2 months now, n i think its perfect, except for two things.....
1 : i cant find any games or applications for it.
2 : the headphones provided dont fix in my ears :)
P.S. does anyone know where to find games n stuff fot it??

hi all .. i've ben usin this handset fro over 6 months now and it workin well but my feedback about it is 7/10
good things
1- very good reseluation screen
2- internet connection workin very good
3- battry not bad for touch screen it last after 2 and half days .
4- nice speaker and sound quality is very high .
1- slow performance :the hanset too slow even if u wants to take a picture by its camra or viwe the saved pictures .
2- from time to time u have to reset the divice ( hard reset ) to free the handset rom otherwise u wont be able to use the phone .
3- over all i don't like symbian 90 too slow and hevey OS as well as its supported softwear as its not avlble and u have to pay for it as its not free
4- the big problem is using the divece with one hand for exp if ur drivin.
5- no 3G on it or infrared connection

Can I upgrade my 7710 firmware with my nokia pcsuite and cable @ my home? where can I get the latest firmware??

Yeah its MMC doesnt work without its genuine backcover. Bcos if u remove its backcover then u'll find a senser on ur fone thats located just upside of battery n a code is located on backcover just in front of that senser when u close it to de fone. The code has a view like a clock.

Of course it has MP3 player... and one of the best... This phone is the best MP3/Video player... and not to mention the Internet browser.. Is the best

Hi. I had given my 7710 for a firmware upgrade and while flashing the upgrade stopped at 39 % sayin MCU ERROr and my 7710 went dead. Now this nokia service centre guy sent it to a Level 3 service centre for repair. Can please someone help me on this . Will my phone be repaired? Please help me

hello Relicpassion..
the smartmovie dosent hang on 7710..make sure u have latest smartmovie installed like 3.25
also u can use tcpmp instead of smartmovie..
2.and the dust dosent go inside screen....firt ,if u buy new nokia 7710,there will be a screen protector covering screen..dont remove that...u can laminate screen also..
3.7710 is worth buying..it depends on u that weather u like 6630 or 7710..

Can anyone tell me answer to these questions.1:does smartmovie hangs when watching a movie2:if cover cannot b removed then does dust go inside the screen like 3230.3:can it b a headache if someone switches from normal to touchscreen phone.4:is it worth buying can it replace my 6630?. Thanxs

can i ask does any of you guy notice that the nokia 7710 resend unsent message due to weak signal and resend once the signal gets stable? the nokia 6230i does it (i love this feature its so awsome) :P

yes, i absolutely agree with u. I don't know why they stop this amazing phone. in addition, what i most love this phone is its resolution. i've personaly never seen any large resolution like this one.

Well, I just bought a 1GB MMC but it still says "No card inserted"

7710 originaly need A MMC type card
a rs mmmc would also work with an adaptor
the "rs " means that is reduced size

Yeah its a greaaatttttt fone from Nokia. But alas nokia stopped its production nokia should make its successor i m using it since 2004 but i doesnt face any problem with it. I m so fond of touchscreen i think in de new successor they should add DVB-H technology n powered its camera to 4 or 5 MP stereo speakers wid 3d surround etc. I m very confused to buy a new mobile i dont understand which can take place of ma 7710 amazing fone.Nokia should make another touchscreen fones isnt it?

I don't know which 1 GB card to buy.
Is it MMC or RS MMC or MMC Mobile? Different sites say different things. Which card fits in the 7710? And do I have to format it when I put a new card in? (There's no card in my 7710 at the moment)

if you still have the original MMC ,try copy the originals files from the orinals MMC to the new mmc."sistem..music" etc..
put the new card on the phone restart..and then..you'l see if it works or not
the phone runs good with a 1 gb mmc too
