Hi Guys,
I need to upgrade the Firmware of Nokia 7710 to V4.10 (or Latest). I am from Mumbai. Can Any one suggest a suitable place and quote the cheapest price. I reside in Malad.

if you want cool applications for your nokia 7710 just go to your yahoo groups and search specifically for "nokia 7710", you will find groups that have instant messaging apps,anti virus,themes, and many more. try it. ive been searching for an application like yahoo messenger so i can chat with my friends, but i cant any find cracked ones, i found one and its reaaly cool, its the im+, it has yahoo,msn,icq,aol and jabber... its really cool. thers also another messenger, its agile messenger, it has a 7 day trial, just go www.agile.com, for me agile works very poor, because ive tried it.. i was not satisfied... and if you want cool games for your nokia 7710, there is pico drive so u can install roms in it... i have pico drive in my phone and it has atleast 50 games on it plus i have skyforce, super miners and explode arena... if you have any question about your fone... i would gladly help you... just email me at kcrisz_11@yahoo.com enjoy your 7710 guys!!! i know i would!!! :P

its really nice having this phone, i can do many things with it, and the applications for this for is vey cool. i dont have any problem using this fone, at first i was bored with my fone but eventually i got the hang on it... i think nokia made a good job on this fone because it helps me a lot with my everyday life... plus im the envy of my classmates... :P

hi, all 7710-lovers! i bought a used 7710 cuz there is no new phone anymore in my country(Cambodia). I am satified with this phone, but the only problem m facing is the GPRS. I can open any web page, but i can't use any chat applications. My firmware is 3.26, and all my chat applications r installed on Memory Card. pls give me some comments whether i must upgrade firmware or not. Nokia Care Center will not take responsibility if sth wrong cuz my phone is out of warranty. Pls write here or it'd be grateful if u can e-mail me instead.

I like this phone but the price remains high for such a failure of a product(according to Nokia,it's a failure it terms of sales). It's a niche-niche product. If it is an old model,why not discount the price to 50%? this phone is obsolete and it still costs $420 U.S dollars here in Jakarta, Indonesia. For that price I can get the N73 instead of this dinosaur. Come dude, don't bean count how much interest and loss that you have to procur,slash the MF price!!!!!!!!!Get rid of the NOS new old stocks!!!!!!!!

Okay. I bought a used Nokia 7710. It looks and feels nice. The performance, thought a bit slow, is perfectly acceptable if we do not expect powerhorse performance.
The firmware which came installed is 4.10 which was the first major upgrade Nokia released for it. A lot of improvements made surely.
The calling and voice quality is high, crisp. But I do feel that 10% louder than the loudest is necessary at times when I am in a noisey environment. No problem when I wear the headset. The call receive and disconnect buttons could be much much better.
My touchscreen has a damaged spot right at the bottom of the screen and one smaller spot right in the middle of the screen. This does make me a bit unhappy, but frankly the one at the centre, is not noticed and the one at the bottom does not matter.
One question: What is the approx. cost of replacement of the glass on the screen? Is it available?
The battery performance - mixed emotions. I have the phone for last almost 15 hours. The seller did charge the phone, but I doubt that it was fully charged. But the battery bars are full. I restarted the phone manually to check the effect on battery and there was no problem.
Office applications are nice, handy and easy to use. Handwriting recognition is super. Organizer applications are very well put.
I haven't tested the connectivity.
Just because of the little damage to the screen, I wasn't satisfied 100%. But otherwise it really is an awesome phone. But not for the masses.

I am going to grab a used phone in really good condition. But some quick questions to the experts like Graddy..
1. Is it really the case with this phone restarting itself and the stability problems?
2. Is the new firmware going to have any improvements? Is anyone installing it?
3. What is the battery life with normal usage? i.e. less talking but more fiddling..

This fone is one of the best in term of using symbian software.I've used pdas on daily basis, but this fone is business/casual day usage mobile. 9/10 any day.

i've had this phone for at least a year and i'm not currently using it right now since it is not working anymore. I've tried to have it repaired, but alas all I have now is an oversized, expensive and shiny paperweight. I loved this phone, it kept me company during my trip overseas, but somethings are just too good to last, nokia 7710 is just one of them. Can't get my hands on N80 or the new SE's.

Visual Radio Means that you can have some visual experience with the music. You can attend tele lotto, tele wallet, choose your traffic update etc. This technology is not available is developing countries. It is very well consumed in USA and CANADA.

this is such an awesome phone ive ever seen in my life, ive used many pda and windows mobile but this is a heavenly phone to carry, i never used any phones for 6 months but am having the mobile for the past seven months and now am happy and satisfied with this mobile that is why am posting this first opinions,
