i have a 7710,all the things are more then expected .viz-the internal speaker but the screen easily get scratches and it cost a lot to change it.i want to know what are the changes which i can realy make to my phone as i think i can never exchange this phone for any other phone available in the catagory.how much does the headphone junk cost...?

hi, i want to say that i just bought this phone used off ebay and i love it. if you live in the us sadly you can not get the firmware updated because it hasn't been released here yet. however, i don't think the processor is as slow as some people make it out to be. for a pda/smartphone it is reasonable especially for nokia's first attempt. if you're looking for something different then this is a definite must. otherwise go for the ericsson pdas.

Silverhawk, use SeleQ... works fine on symbian and it`s like DOS (windows).

im thinking of buying a 7710. i have a 7610 currently and it supports downloaded themes so i want to know if it supports downloaded themes. the max size for a wallpaper of my 7610 is 176x144 so i also want to know the wallpaper size for the 7710.

I have owned 7710 for a year now.
all my text msges get stored on the phone memory. I want to copy them to the SIM memory as I'm thinking of chaging the phone for something lighter. But, I'm unable to find any option that lets me move/copy msges to SIM. Please help. thanks.

this phone just sucks. i m having a nokia 7710, i have never expected this from nokia. my prob is with camera's night mode, touch screen and stylus. plz guys dont go for this smartphone, try going for o2 xda2 or sony erricson p910i, they are value for money(worth)

Hey a nokia i actually like its amazing really amazing, (I'm talking about me actually liking a Nokia phone!). The phone looks a bit plain but one of my friends got it imported and it can really do a lot of things, mobile tv is my favourite because he can watch our satellite TV in my country!

quite good phone, great value, perfect screen, sometimes in direct daylight it is unreadable, but...:) i only dissapointed in photo quality (its much worse than SE) and sms writing (when you move it is impossible to write sms, nokia could had find out something with navikey or something)

This fone is cool becos of the touchscreen feature and its widescreen.. But why be using it when the 3rd part softwares isn't much available? For most of the time u be using the installed apps that is already avalable in the phone. That will lead to boredom in using the fone after sometime.. The Sony P900/910i is a superb symbian touchscreen fone where many uiq software can be installed to it.. Nokia created symbian right? Why are they creating faults in this fone as softeares isn't much available which is a fact.. And Sony is the winner on the other hand.. Weird..

I tried to play Ngage/NgageQD games on Nokia 7710 but they didnt work.i tried fifa midtown etc.
Does anybody have a instant messenger to be used with yahoo?i tried agile & IM+ but they didnt work.Plz help.Can somebody send it to me?

hey guys, may i just ask a question... does anybody from you, already played n-gage games on 7710? some applications from series 60 and especially series 80 works on 7710. so i guess maybe theres a possibilty also to play n-gage games on 7710. pls answer this question... im about to buy this phone as soon as you clarify this issue... thanks!!!

I have this phone for a month. Its has the best built in pack of software pre-installed. The only thing a miss in this phone is wi-fi capability. Its display is the best I ever seen in a mobile device. Thanks nokia.

Opera browser is one of the best.Widesreen is a big advantage.
GPRS/EDGE is top class.P910 has only Class 8(No EDGE)
Zoom=crop so it doesnt matter if its 2x or 4x.The quality is reduced due to zooming.
Images can be edited to a large extent.
Sound quality is good.Very good through headphones.(Ofcoure you cant compare with the SE walkman series, they are meant to have good sound they are WALKMANS)
Good internal memory (90mb)& contact book than p910
Touchscreen is very responsive.
Little software?Check yahoo groups/mysymbian & you'll get as much as you want.Since s90 is a new platform the softwares may take time in creation
New firmware has made it faster and upgraded many of the functions.P910 has v1.1 bluetooth.N7710 has v1.2
Price dropped to Rs.18K(INR)so it has become even more affordable.
Im not saying its the best.But it isnt as bad as you make it out to be.

7710 has a expensive phone
with cheap qualtiy 1
1 its internet browsing is the bad one
gprs cant work properly
bad design too bulky
its weight is to heavy
its camera only can zoom 2 times like the 6600,with no white balance,picture size,effects,no mirror(just see sony ericson walkman type they all is the best one
has cheapest sound quality
its radio cant take good sound
its toucscreen its to hard not like sony ericson,p910i,its
only has little software
to upgrade
bluettoth is to bad wit only 1.1 version the price is rp4.5 at indonesia and the seciond is drop until rp3 at he shop
dont buy this phone if you doesnt want to loss your money for buying the nokia brand only
