Its a gud phone.. just used it for 2weeks and still xploring it..
witchking, when i d/load the fullhand casino from the nokia site, and try to install it, it say invalid certificate.. What is that?? Can U help me..

My partner has 7710, i used for some time and i loved it. its got a fabulous screen, when i wanted to buy it, my partner said its slow and better buy the O2 XDA2s.
I bought the XDA2'S. and i hate it man. Its got a horrible screen man. i bought this becoz my partner has 7710 and he complaints of it being slow.
But this XDA2's comes out to be worse.
for no reason it just hangs. i have to reset it. I thought XDA's dont hang so i bought it.
after clicking a picture, if i dial a number, the phone wont respond for 6 seconds.
And its screen is pathetic. If you are looking at a black and blue image on the phone, you can see the pixels clearly.
On the 7710 i never noticed pixels.
Cam is useless at night. I should have waited for something better.
I hate my partner, he said 7710 is slow and bad, i think its better than xda2s
All phones are bad.
Money wasted.

u should buy the SE w800i as it has a bigger memory, looks good, its a walkman fone, has bluetooth, infrared, 2mp camera, expandable memory, there so many features which u have to check out on this fone, look at the fetures and reviews on both fones coz at the end of the day its up too u to decide which fone u want, but for me i wud choose THE SE W800I, hope this helped

The built in game is FullHand Casino and that is it. You also get a try before you buy of slurp and lemonade tycoon. Latest firmware is 4.5. Its easy to get hold of Jewel Rumble, No mans Land, Mame, Breakout, Reversi, Picodrive, Skyforce, Superminers, Marble Manic, Viking Winter Games and Tetris amongst others. Mame and Picodrive have over a thousand games between them.
The phone is not very slow, however the video recording sucks.
Ahmad, its almost impossible to understand your pseudo-street speak. English is a lot easier! But glad you like the thing.
PS I do not intend responding often or at all on this forum, but I drop by now and then. I have given up on replying due to the predominance of lazy and plainly stupid people who use this board.

well im usin dis set for last 10 dayz .. itz awesum ... xcellent display ... n out class result ... writin sms iz damn ez .. usin stylus while writin iz damn it n fast ... itz bit slow but now not dat much ... i il give it 9 out of 10 ... itz better dan p910i much much better dan it .. ppl shud go 4 it .. it rox luv ya my 7710 ;)

I really like dis phone but i m not able to decide on whether to buy it or not cuz i hv heard it's kinda slow and its video recording is very poor.My other option is Krome "spy"! which one shld i go for?

Hi
I would like to tel everyone very important information.When u get your Nokia 7710 software upgraded,get it upgraded from NOKIA ASP that u know is good becoz its a very risky method,it might damage your FLASH IC and make your phone dead.(happend to me).Now i have nokia 7710 v4.50 and its rocking i mean now its looks like a more of a organised phone good camera clarity clicked pic saw on pc result is good and music player u can set ringtone directly its also good.It fast now but one bug that control panel pen input seting it has a bug its showing squares (corrupt fonts) and not showing right info. Rest the phone is good and would suggent u to go for nokia v 4.50 rather v 4.0.1.

I have just got the firmware upgrade to v.4.50 after very big fights they ppl have made my phone dead first and then chaged some hardware part (Flash IC) and now i have just got the phone this morning and it much better i mean its more customised and its now has a auto application close feature also that great

To SERJOE:
You can either use the left/right key(button) to increase/decrease the volume or you can tab on the "speaker" symbol ar the top of the screen to adjust the volume while on call.

i am using v3.5 on my 7710, and it said that it couldn't read it. maybe with the new firmware update, it will, but i know the old firmware will not. btw, i found a place where you can update the firmware in the u.s. their website is :

Russell, you are wrong. This phone supports 1gb cards for certain. I know several people who have them in their 7710's. It is thought to also support 2gb cards, but no one I know has proven this yet. So please do not post information that is incorrect. I know various website reviews (and I beleive nokia's own site) etc say its 512kb max, but that is wrong.
