so with memory that it comes with, how many songs can u upload approx and what kind of file format can it support as in mp4, wma, e.c.t
is it easy to rip out music from a cd and transfer them to the phone and how do u watch live tv and does it work in the uk,
also is it better than the SE W800i

See,through bluetooth or data cable you can directly transfer mp3 files to the mobile and it plays great.The newer models are coming with the upgraded 1.3 megapixel cameras so you won't be required to do anything.Besides,you get 1 year of service free,so if in future an upgrade comes out, you can just take your mobile to any nokia center and get it done for free.The phone does support a 1 GB card.And as I said before,you can view all the web sites on it.
The phone doesn't have an infrared port.And yes,you can touch the screen with your fingers as well,just that it'd lead to more scratches on the screen.You can actually watch live TV on the phone, but then you need to be in a country where this is supported.
Can't say if any other phone compares to its features or not,but believe this is one of the best available out there.

thankyou, i want to also ask u something else, u know with the memory it comes with, how many tracks can u store and can u rip music out of cd's and transfer them into phone, the other thing is that u know u said that if u upgrade the firmwhere the camera gets a boost and apps are faster, overall better performance, do some packages already have the firmware upgraded already or do we have to do it ourselfs and how much does that cost to do, also another thing is can u view websites like ebay, hotmail e.c.t, also is this phone better than the SE W800i, also spme people say this device can support up too 1GB mmc memory cards and other say 512mb so which one does it support and also do any of u own a vodafone shop so i can recieve this phone at a very cheap price!

its a freaking amazing phone to look at..it has got that style and charisma that just is 222222222 difficult to resist..the wide and touch screen is really making me go for it.

Mr. R,For me Nokia 7710 is the best option.It gives you a wide screen with good clarity to browse the web.You can browse through almost all the sites.
Camera is upgradable to 1.3 megapixels.The previous versions came with the 1 megapixel camera , but the new firmware upgrades it to 1.3 megapixel.
As has been posted so many times before, you get hell lot of games and themes for nokia 7710 from google and yahoo groups.You just need to have the patience to find them out.

hey guys can u tell me which phone i should get, i'm stuck between the nokia 7710, n91 and the SE W800i, i mean they all have massaive meories which i need but here are a few questions i want answering
firstly,
can u go on the internet to places like ebay, hotmail, normal home internet use,
secondly,
with the memory that it comes with, how many tracks can u store and is it easy to rip music off a cd and store it into the phone,
with the latest firmware how fast are all the apps and do u know of any websites that let u unlimited free downloads of music , apps, java games e.c.t
if u have more answers to some questions then do let me know

No software shout outs!!!!!

This phone can support 1GB MMC, though it is slow, when you have previous firmware.

This will be my last post!!!

"AMAZING" is the word for the cell phone.I have been usein the phone from the time it has been launch .Anybody lookin for a change from the regular phones 7710 is the phone.TOO GOOD!!!!!! I have started feelin rich ....................

Wicthking I was wondering is Smart Movie a soft ware i can found on limewire or something so i could download it.
Also do u or anyone know how to make the voice mail icon pop up when u have it. I know the phone has it cause theres one in the users guide. my phone never let me know. if anyone knows please let me know. thanx.

Initially I had problems with 7710. I then opened Control Panel, then pressed Restore Original Settings. Everything was then OK. Since then, I have been using Switcher to close apps properly, and 7710 has been faultless since.

Hi. If you want illegal software, then look through google or the various forums out there. Its not hard to find. However, as the biggest complaint by people is that there is not enough software for the 7710, then dont you think you should encourage the developers by buying what they've made? There are also enough free games out there to keep anyone happy).

I'll not be posting here anymore as I'm tired of going over the same ground and being asked over and over by people for programs or how they can do firmware. I just wish people did what I did, which is read all of the thread before I asked anything.

AS for the phone, its good, but slow and erratic. My latest phone switches itself off for no reason every now and again or wipes its recent phone lists or connects to GPRS for God knows what reason. It is also very slow when playing Flash games. Thankfully its good as a camera and book reader. Its passable for films and games and pretty good for music. Office applications are pretty useful, though limited in functionality and size. At the end of the day, its a smart phone and one of the best media ones.

Hope you enjoy it, or dont curse it too much. If you find one better, then let me know. :o)

coz me having troule closing applications,..
the fone becomes realy slow n me have to switch it off then bk on again coz i dunno what to do to close app

Latest version of firmware will be upgraded at any of the Nokia priority service centres.Make sure you carry the necessary bills and warranty card so as to get it done free of cost.
