To Pyar: if you want to get the screen protector for 7710 just go to www.techoni.com.au and you can do a purchase from their web. I have bought 1 from them and I am happy with it :)

No. I hope your not going to send it. Local electronic shop will do. what happen to your phone? Anyway, my friends told me that international repair are their tactic. No police would investigate that far for just that type of amount. Yes, for us it expensive phone but international will not ship your phone back.

I have been using Nokia phones ever since I started using mobile phones and I am most comfortable with nokia cell phones. I bought a 7710 from singapore and within months it's gone defunct. I showed it to the nokia authorised service agent in Mumbai, India, as i live in Mumbai. there they said that i will have to leave the cell phone behind and they do not guarantee for 100% repair as they do not accept internatonal warranty in India. please help me out here. i went to the nokia site but there is no place to reply for a 7710.

To everyone. If you want the best screen might as well by junk phone and psp. WIFI is the one also bothers me not to buy this phone, the only reason I want to buy this phone. I guess the nokia isnt dumb afterall, I mean who would buy Nokia 9500 if there is Nokia 7710 which have pen stylus, widescreen and a sleek design. Nokia should drop the price. Again fols if you wander if office should work on regular, it should if you have office software which cost minimum of $200(sale price)like I said earlier trash those because you dont need those it will only slow your system. mabuhay kabayan, san ka sa pinas?

the best video wiewing application for N7710 is smartmovie. If you know how to adjust the parameters and codec of smartmovie converter.Don't compare RealOne (RM-3GP)with smartmovie.Smartmovie's the best software of N7710.

I wanted to know, from the Nokia 7710 owners, is it annoying not having WiFi integrated in the phone? The one big question that I would love answered is how is the 7710 compared to the 9500? The 9500 seems to be the perfect PDA/phone since it also has wifi, but the 7710 looks so cool. Which is better?

They comment about slow. Maybe they tunoff often their phone. The memory is too small to abuse this type of activity. as much as possible charge your phone, without turning off, another thing about nokia is that the difficulty of exiting a program, any user must read the instruction how to exit. Exit application before using another application(this is how series 90 does. also, never store any file from the phone, to free up traffic. Eleminate any application that you dont need, who needs office when you only get to use the pen and it is very tiny? People if you want freeware there are alot of site that specificaly to your phone, I found one however just a reminder that these phones are new and not much developer. Now the question is to all current owner does this phone really have a tv, because i like to buy either nokia 7710 or nokia 6680?If you plan to purchase and you live in USA there is astore that can do financing to these phones. email me for further question and answers to my question

But my real question is, if I create a word file with MSoffice 2000 on my desktop, copy it to my 7710 (by bluetooth, USB, whatever), then can I open it up with the softwares in 7710? and vice versa? I am not a technoid and new to all of these stuff, please help me....thanks!!

Question about mobile tv for this phone. First of all, how does it work? , because i see no icon for it, except for the cell broadcast. Is the cell broadcast for the mobile tv? I dont think it is b/c on the nokia website it has a different icon that reads mobile tv. Also, when i purchased the phone the salesman said that u need to buy a special chip which is similar to a sim card which runs u around $180 dollars in the U.S. But i dont know how true that is because i went to best buy and they had no clue as to what i was talkin about. Maybe i need to check with my provider, anyone?

Hi Carl! If you were to get the Motorola Bluetooth program, you can download it onto your computer. Then your phone will be able to access what you have on the computer such as excel files. The only thing is that the Bluetooth program works no more than ten metres away. Yuo could also use infrared.

Hello ppl! I want to buy the N7710, but one thing bothers me ... Can this phone read word and excel files (generated by your desktop computer MS Office 2003)? And can my desktop computer read word/excel files generated by this phone? If it is not compatable, really don't want to buy it, would rather opt for other PDA's. Many thanks if you can shed some light on my question!!!!
