well someone here asked that whther this phone is better or 9500 i must say that 9500 is a better device in all aspects because 9500 is a work oriented device where as this phone is mainly for entertainment puposes its a mobile media device it is a little too big for a touch screen phone as well i have used it and i had to restart it many times by taking the battery out because it just went dead its screen is ecellent but in the review its 100% right that it has a yellowish touch in it i dunno why that is i being a serious user would prefer 9500 and if ur looking for a smartphone with all the features in a more compact size go for the xda2 mini or p910 SE this cell is good no doubt but this mobile comes in a different category than 9500 but still 9500 is much more better than this mobile

Curacao : With more and more applications and programs being released for the 7710 and its great features, you should buy it if you are considering one of the touch-screen phones. As for the yellowish screen, it isnt really yellowish. If you turn the display brightness to its max, the screen is transparently white. Only at half will it look a bit yellowish. As for the crashing system, you should give it a few seconds whenever working with its programs. Coz some people dun have the patience and they double clicked some of the programs many times which in turn leads to the system crashing because it cant handle too much continuous request at the same time. Its the same as windows. If you open adobe, flash and dreamweaver at the same time wouldnt it slow down ur com.

hi there just a week back i bought this phone i paid 25000rs in india. first of all i should tell this is the greatest of them all before this i was using nokia 6630 which i didnt like so i bought this phone. i use internet very frequently and this is the best phone for internet browsing, i was fed up with nokia 6630 in which surfing internet was not that good but in this phone surfing internet gives me a pleasure. apart from internet the sound quality, images, video are great. whenever i take this phone out of my pocket people next to me stare. so i give a 9 out of 10 for this phone

I got it a week ago and I like it a lot.
The screen is brilliant and it has a lot of nice features. Handwriting recognition works very well, better than my Palm and my old Sony/Ericsson P800.
The MP3 player is good, the radio too. The camera is the best I have tried on a mobile phone.
There are a few things which annoy my a bit and I certainly hope that Nokia will provide a software/firmware update soon.
- switching Bluetooth on/off is quite cumbersome -> need an icon on the top level desktop (I have a Bluetooth hands-free in my car which I use ca. once a week, but the Bluetooth consumes extra battery and therefore I don't want to switch it on permanently).
- can't find a way to search for a contact by a phone number (or a part of it)
- calendar reminders and messages switch on the screen backlight, which will exhaust the battery within some hours. Very bad if you are travelling in a different timezone and set the phone to silent profile overnight or if you are in a long meeting or a conference and don't notice a message)
- when travelling in airplanes, actually it is not permitted to switch on GSM. If you happen to turn off the device before entering the airplane and want to switch it on in flight mode, you have to activate the GSM first, then select the flight profile.
I found a few other minor things which have room for improvement.
I can recommend it, especially if these flaws are fixed (which should be quite easy).

Great job!!! I have been using this marvelous Nokia 7710 for a month without any trouble. Great picture quality and the mpix 3.2 is great. Better than a digital camera of course. Internet browsing is so fast. I have nearly stop browing internet on my pc now. Touch screen is so smooth. be aware of a mobile virus gurard!!! I can draw pictures on the screen using scratch. It's great. Vidoe quality has to be improved. I think it depend on the momory. (MMC) Bit bulky! But really worth for money for person who wants to get the maximum. Radio and mp3 is great.
