Using this phone from one week now
On amazone this phone is 15800 ( after some discounts ) so don't compare price that company launch this phone.
I appreciate Nokia for giving clean android as my friends Xiaomi phones showing a unwanted ad while just swiping the screen LOL then he said i tried to remove it but the app is inbuilt and its a "Xiaomi browser".
So do you like these experience with your phones?
Nokia give you PureDisplay SDR to HDR conversion, Zeiss Optics, Android one with 3 year software update support and with dedicated mermory card slot.
For performance point of view Nokia will give you till Android 11 and they are there to optimize it.
Nokia phones are not based on hardware only the bosst there performance with software support
I paly pubg with high graphics smoothly
In real world processor doesn't matter at all as long as your phone life never end and you are not ignored even on 3rd year of your phone. Nokia gives you 3 years of gurrented update.
Main thing which matter is your experience with the phones with you are using. HMD Nokia have made many partnerships to provide you with better software experience then other thats why they charge you more money then your crappy chinese phones which support ads and make your life worse later on.
In back i am using samsung a70 2016 i never miss my super amoled display. Nokia pure view display are superb as amoled.

More power efficient and better diplay of colours compare to LCD.. but LCD are more durable than OLED... Now the fact that we all know is Nokia 6.2 and 7.2 are the more terrible phones of 2019 tied with their poor flagship Nokia 9 pureview.. I find nothing worth purchasing these device.. Even the camera is terrible and easily beatable by the rivals OEM

reversible, 30 Oct 2019Hi ,I have Nokia 7.2. and I want to share my own opinion ab... moreAppraising Nokia 7.2 will go a long way in deteriorating the brand image of Nokia. As a matter of fact most of the buyers are not happy with this device. If Nokia admits their faults, I'd say they are clever enough to compete tomorrow. The honest video review of Nokia 7.2 by GSMarena can be found on the www. Before ending up, I should accept the fact that the Nokia 8.1 is far superior to this device.

Hi ,I have Nokia 7.2. and I want to share my own opinion about this gem of a phone.firstly,Nokia is not only an OEM providing high spec sheet for its phones but it is a vendor focussing on user experience.that is why people trust Nokia and is the most trusted brand in mobile phone industry after Apple.it is taken for granted that Nokia phones will be superior in design ,buildquality,in hand feel and UI tweaks maintaining the Nokia legacy through years.now I come to the point and discuss salient features of Nokia 7.2 which I don't find elsewhere in midrange category.1) when we use an android smartphone,we want the software as pure and unadultered as Google intended it to be putting aside extra features and unnecessary adornments.this is what Nokia provides in Nokia 7.2 ,an android one device with compulsory monthly updates for at least two years and two major upgrades.this ensures security and provides up to dateness.which other brands refrain from and device support is deficient.2)we want our phone

so, this was released in my country over the weekend and got mine today.
pros: excellent for everyday, casual use and good enough for games. display is crisp and clear. has good camera and can even be better if you know how to use the pro feature. the side led indicator is a nice added feature, a feature that i liked on my old bb classic.
cons: it cost about us$315. i believe, for it's specs, should be just around us$230 or less. the body and frame is made of plastic which feels cheap and flimsy. which definitely having a protective case is a must given also that the camera is protruding. included earphone is cr4p. either it works or it doesn't.
overall: i like it. this should last me for at least 2 years. a 4ah battery would also be nice

Carol, 29 Oct 2019Terrible 660? Wow... it is actually sad to see people that ... moreOh right, me, the one who doesn't think the $350 phone with an LCD and a 660 is the one who doesn't know what they're talking about. Nope, that's not how this works m8. Wow you're tied as the most hypocritical and mentally incompetent person I've seen today. You're right, the 660 is nowhere near the "best in class," it's about 1/3 as good as the "best in class." And that's the reason so many devices are using it. Manufacturers like Nokia aren't trying to give you good performance for the money, (I hope you weren't slow enough to actually think that) no, they want to get the most money out of you possible, while putting in as little money as possible. The 660 is cheap garbage, so they use it. And oh boy you have no clue how bad LCDs are apparently. LCDs these days are barely any better than they were half a decade ago. They're still cruddy displays with terrible backlights that prevent actual blacks from being displayed. You didn't even say Nokia's terrible "ClearBlack Display technology" right. (further proving your ignorance) It didn't help their cruddy LCD displays back in 2010, and it most certainly doesn't help them now. The blacks are not "pure black" like you lied about, nowhere near it. And it saves 0% of your battery. A filter does nothing at all for your battery. However, actually shutting the pixels off, which a vastly superior OLED can do, does save battery. The statement "am actually prefering them over amoleds just cause better on screen battery life." is pretty god damn stupid if you ask me, not only because of the terrible grammar, but also because of the idiotic logic. Even with Android 10's mediocre implementation of dark mode, OLEDs still save way more power in it due to another reason you lied about. Even dark grays save power on OLEDs. To call an LCD bad in any way, is just pure facts. This phone is not "balanced" whatever that means. True balance was 2 years ago with the LG V30. It was an overall above average phone with no real sacrifices in comparison to the competition that was either using bad displays, bad cameras, adding notches, removing the headphone jack, etc. This phone makes sacrifices in many ways. Many many ways. And could you translate "disperate haus husbands" to English for me please, because I don't speak gibberish. "Carol," you're just like the other person I just had to write an essay for because a few words couldn't describe how dumb you sound/are.

Poor battery life performance and outdated soc

hmm, 29 Oct 2019Your one of the biggest wannabe in this gsma community. Lo... moreyou are very correct regarding the MiA3. I have used it as couple of my family members have it. As much an issue it seems for tech review guys, that amoled 720p pannel is very usable. At that price with such processer ram, indisplay scanner, Android one, best camera quality in segment, litterally 2 days battey life,
HMD simply don't have any justification for their pricing.

But being a Nokia fan i have not given up on them yet. I wish my 7.2 could have a lot better for what I paid. Let's see when HMD corrects its course and listens to fans who have started their mobile.journy with a Nokia.

Carol, 28 Oct 2019Ps if i am addressing to you like i do, does not mean i am ... moreYour one of the biggest wannabe in this gsma community.
Look in the mirror for once in your life when you start to talk about wannabe.

There is no thing like better build quality cause it's Nokia. We dont live in 20th century where everything was made to last forever.

I take Xiaomi Mi A3 over this junk of 7.2 every day on a week. I even get TWO Mi A3 phones for the price of ONE Nokia 7.2

Mi A3 cons over 7.2 is updated version of cpu SD665, AMOLED screen even tough it's 720p only and close to 30 hours more on battery life and mi a3 is a bit more compact on it's size and even have faster fast charger then Nokia.

What exactly is that what makes you think two A3 price for one 7.2 is better option ? Both have clean android OS on them.

I have had most of my phones Nokia phones but none of my Nokia phones have been from HMD cause i dont buy my self a phone to show off how dumb i am when i buy 2 times of the price jjust for brand name and then talk about some build quality that is the most re tar ded thing to justify anything when the build quality is exactly the same. And when we talk about material then Nokia material isnt Platinum or Gold with Diamonds that justify that they are better materials and there for need to cost 2 times the value

joe nodden, 29 Oct 2019Ok it's still got a terrible 660 and an LCD? Your point?Terrible 660? Wow... it is actually sad to see people that do not understand technology talking about it in a way that proove ignorance at alarming levels. Actually it scratches my eyes. Snapdragon 660 is not the best in class this days, but for sure is not terrible. If it would be, there would not have been so many devices using it, so It gotta work. As for LCD, (just another ignorant statement). LCD's this days are actually pretty damn good and with Nokia pure black filter they are even better and with systems like Android or IOs that are not even a mile close to windows phone 8's pure black interface, am actually prefering them over amoleds just cause better on screen battery life. Even android 10 won't do to much to help for battery saving because dark mode is not black and will still turn the full panel on no matter what, and with the full panel on, oh amoled dries that juice up... plus, no matter what, burn-in will happen because of the natural deterioration of the panel. Now LCD got so far that actually this days puting it against amoled it resumes to only a preference more then anything else. And to call LCD in any bad way, is nothing but ignorance. As for this Nokia... well it might not be the best ever, cause it ain't, but is one of the most balanced. A clean os that will be updated, good quality materials, good call quality, good camera, good screen (i might just say great screen) and good internals. This device is not for disperate haus husbands that buy the latest tech because it sounds good on paper, or for benchmarks numbers hunters, is for people who need a good stable well made device. As i always said, to each his own. And coming here screaming BAD Bad, is just ignorance or bashing propaganda.
