Are you sure you have the dual SIM model (TA-1046 or TA-1062).
In UK I think they sell only the single SIM model (TA-1055).

Got my nokia 7 plus just 3 days ago and am enjoying it to the fullest. strong battery life for up to 48 hrs with data on with apps running. however, still not been able to update to android 8.1

What it all adds up to is that this device is shipping with what is essentially its beta firmware, and there appears to be delays in getting the final version (8.1 with the April security) out to all regions and model versions.
HMD's biggest fault here is their lack of communication. They literally have nothing to say when asked directly what is going on. Very poor

If you would like a better camera, 18:9 ratio large phone.. Go with the 7+
Otherwise, if you would like a compact phone with flagship processor and better perfirmance.. Go for the Nokia 7

Camera is arguable. NOKIA could still improve the camera with updates and that would make it better than OnePlus. Also, with GCam, 7 plus has a better camera.

Look mate, Android One Program was created by Google so they could roll out timely updates in an easier way to the OEMs who support it (NOKIA, some Moto devices etc). So, its still upto the OEMs to decide whether or when to roll out the updates. And NOKIA is one of the two best manufacturers to give timely updates, last year (i.e. even before adopting the Android One program).
Yeah, so its not fully a marketing bullshit as you consider it.

Solution : You just have search the Play Store for an "FM Radio" app and install your desired Radio app. As simple as that.

Hello, I bought Nokia 7 Plus from 6 days ago, and my android is 8.0.0 ! but it supposed to be 8.1 is that right ?
When I perform "check for updates" it Shows " You system is up to date" !
Is that normal or what ?
