I want to ask a question about ips screen. Given that most new phones have non standard ultra wide screens, how does it look while watching standard 16:9 content ? There will be black bars, obviously, but how do those bars look ? I watch videos in the dark sometimes, so having those bars shining would be very bad. I currently have a phone with amoled screen, and black pixels are just turned off, so they dont make any light, and i was wondering how it would it on ips screen.

I just found that screen casting is not working with my TVs like other android phones. And I learned today thatot works only with Chromecast hardware. That is another Cons for me...Sad!

asdadasfff, 12 Nov 2018Biggest headache I ever had in the history of buying phone.... moreyou might've gotten a faulty device bud, try reaching out to Nokia or HMD themselves not just the place where you got it, every brand and very unit has some faulty devices shipped, we really cant avoid it

Every time I look around for the phone, There are only 3 things are important to me.
1 Camera and video Quality- Nokia 7 plus I should say it’s 5 star for me. I love the camera of this phone it got an excellent quality. I love the picture to to picture and taking selfie while capturing other things using rear camera. I guess and hope I’m not mistaken it is Nokia only got this camera feature at the moment.
2. Battery Life- On my experience i am a heavy internet user and this that amaze the most. The battery of Nokia 7 Plus is the best I only charged once day. This the the first mobile that satisfies me when it comes the battery life
3. Speed - it might be the best compare to others but that 4gig of ram is enough for me.
Overall I am happy and satisfied with Nokia 7 plus (9 pie android version). I love this phone.

Biggest headache I ever had in the history of buying phone. Screen quality is not good. First I have novatek issue, was not able to replace or refund it because the the return/replacement window lapse when I noticed the problem. Send it for repairs and the screen bottom half is yellowish. Sent it again for repairs and now the display is yellowish on the left side and cool in the right side

Just like what you're told, you need to research a lot first about the device you like before buying it. If you have done so, you'd know that this phone's bootloader is locked - rooting is not an option - and HMD/Nokia has not provided an official way to unlock it. If you did research, you'd know that the features you're looking for cannot be provided by this device. But if you did and you bought it anyway, well...it's really not the device's fault.

pls say or post some picture of your phone with screen protector with full transprency or max video or display viewing as Im not using the one becoz as it will defeat the transparency or display viewing experience but I want to use one for accidental drops in future.

Everything is just e... moresame here buddy, Im from india too and i love my white one a lot.I'm happy with my phone overall except for room light video quality.video quality at room light even with 10 to 12, 15 watt lights not equal to that of morning video quality but it is good.I only thing I want to you ask you which screen protector you are using as I dont use one becoz it defects the screen quality or transparency so pls say one which gives maximum transprency of original video viewing. I have heard about gadget shiledz screen protector claiming full transparency.If you know about it friend. say it.I will buy that one.

This is my 3rd month with this mobile. Everything is just excellent. Not experienced any kind of issue whatsoever and everything works perfect. Dropped mobile accidentally twice but without a single scratch its really built well. am reading the issues posted by others everyday here but fortunately I do not have any issues with the mobile and please note am a simple consumer from india and not any nokia agent or something. I am posting this to share my experience only. I am quite happy with the phone and stock android..just no nonsense at all.

After 3 months battery pod spoil.Done repairing and still same problem.The worst phone I buy.Nokia 7 plus.Its not unlucky it's about quality.
