There has been a long wait for the Nokia-8 and I have been a Nokia fan all along. I am currently using the Nokia Lumia 925. I am hoping that the battery for the Nokia8 will be better than 3000MAH since it has not been anounced. HTC has an 2 TB expandable SD card in the price range that I have mentioned below. The wait should not be too long that people who trust the brand are disheartened and the price should be really competitive between 20-22k. Nokia will be able to come back as the brand on demand.
HURRY UP NOKIA 8 Show us what U've got.

Until Nokia sold its mobile phone business to MS few years ago, I had always used a Nokia phone and loved their build quality, sturdy feel, stable Symbian OS, etc. So, look forward to their phones in their new avatar, courtesy HMD Global, the new licensee of Nokia brand for mobile phones globally.
I live in India, and want to avoid buying a Chinese make/branded phone, if I can help it, so have been deferring my purchase awaiting the Nokia phones' launch in Q2/H2 of 2017. Have read about specs of Nokia 5 & 6, and with a dated S430 SoC they are a no-go for me. Hence, seems Nokia 8 could be my first stop, if I do insist on a Nokia phone. Considering the specs of Nokia 8 (not sure of battery capacity, which is not mentioned here), it seems a good option, subject to correct pricing. If it's priced around Rs. 25-27K in India, it will sell well, but if it's priced above Rs 30K, there will be few takers, as there are better options in that price segment. HMD needs to realize that those who loved Nokia phones earlier, will expect a lot more of the brand in its new avatar, as it is an entirely different market now. To re-establish itself as a market leader, it needs to not just offer excellent build quality that Nokia phones were known for earlier, but also price them right, until it 'grows' on people. It can't bank on its earlier Brand equity or loyalty, as the mobile phone market, esp. in India is very tough now. Hope HMD gets its act right and markets the Nokia phones at competitive prices. Good luck !

The phone specs is pretty impressive unlike Samsung flagship phone but is it possible for Nokia to make a 41 megapixel sensor phone, like they made Nokia lumia 1080 and the Nokia 808 pureview.

IF a 24MP camera, it will need big pixels as the noise is still there in the 5 model. It should have a sensor as big as the 1020 Nokia. IF it does not then there's no point it existing except if the radio is good and you can record off-air as you can with an LG G4 for example
A big sensor a 24MP could give noiseless shots at 100iso, but wait and pray they are not believing we are all still stupid...
