.... its been a long time waiting, and I am prepared to be patient for as long as it takes. This phone breaths in the past and screams out into the future. Hopefully not 'back to the future' for too long. The specs suggested, running on a 835, 24mp camera, and near as good as 4k video, SD 256..... This is a smart phone!

Wow. I'm waiting for Nokia 8. It's features are good. But please release it different colors and change design. Like as nokia edge.

I wish very much that they will make two versions of this phone to increase their customer base. May be they should make Nokia 8 lite. The specs is the same as the Samsung S8 so I expect that this will perform like the Way the S8 will be performing or similar. The only difference is the camera. This one is 24 megapixils but big number of pixils does not refrect on how good a camera can perform. So that is nothing to boast of. But for sure this phone can context the best phone 2017.

Wow, Nokia is coming very big time like the S8 and I believe the competition will be very tough. Nokia was the best some years back until they branched into windows phones when smart phones pop up and rendered the unporpular. If they can get this very high specs right and highly performing like Huawei, Samsung, Oneplus, Xiaomi, and others are already performing they will have good success. I shall start buying their phones again.

So you're saying that OP 3 doesn't have good software? It's so close to stock Android with only a few tweaks you wouldn't even be heavily affected. Anyways, with that out of the way, this Nokia phone is 100% legit as per what I heard. So it's like this, Nokia was dead, right? They gave their factory to Microsoft which was bought by Foxconn, which is involved in our current Nokia, and their branding belonged to another company that used to be part of Nokia. So Nokia branding + ex-Nokia company + ex-Nokia factory = 100% Nokia, I think.

is nokia 8 going to be 24mp aperture1/1.7, 12mp front 1/1.7 aperture and screen ratio 91%, 5.7" svreen size or above, water and dust proof? i will surely buy it if it has the above specification.

Oh yeah amd lg will start selling their phone 10 days erlier than samsung's s8.

I will never get you. BTW please understand waterproofing is just glue sealing of connection links between display and main body+ silicon sealing of electronic components located near USB, 3.5mm jack port and loudspeaker. It can get damaged after impact so NEVER get your phone wet no matter what- better safe than sorry. Check Jerryrigseverything for details. And why would you discuss over preliminary specs?

These 3 phones will cost at least $700...
Ok you might not need wireless charging especially considering that Quick Charge 4.0 on the Snapdragon 835 is wicked fast...
But will you be ok to have a $700 phone and still can't use them in the rain? or near swimming pools because it can be damaged by water, while you know that there are similarly priced phones that you can use freely while raining, near swimming pool, and even can be washed in the sink??
AND ESPECIALLY IN 2017??
I'm sure you will think twice ;)
