Nokia dropped the ball so many times, beginning when Apple brought out the smartphone 10 years ago; sheer arrogance! the re-birth with MS was another disaster, well lets see what Nokia can do this time. Unfortunately there is nothing "new" in this phone. No great leaps in tech, no innovation; just "me too" and joining the throng. No idea about price but it won't have a price advantage, that goes to the Chinese so what makes this different/better/cheaper? Ans: nothing. It is high spec but lacks a removable battery. Is there IP68+ or not? It is just another ho hum top end phone at a likely mega price point! Yawn...

Can we expect Nokia to be a market disrupter, let me remind you we have already seen the demise of the very premium Blackberry. Will nokia be able to avoid the same death ? The pricing of the phones will play a major roles, esp in major markets like India, china and europe.

                    HMD and Nokia,
Please remove or let drop home's button or home's key even if that's touch key! Nokia 6/8 remind me one thing: Samsung Symbol!
                    Thanks

Anonymous, 13 Jan 2017https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMD_Global. Refer to this link. It's the same thing i said , made at FOXCONN , Nokia doesn't have their own factory in Finland anymore , HMD is not NOKIA , even though indeed some Nokia old employees created it.

Yes, 8GB is not necesarry. But they might be useful when it comes to the camera features and power. Lumia 1020 pureview was exellent camera, but very much limited by pathetic hardware. I wonder what kind of cameraphone beast Nokia 8 will be.

R yadav, 15 Jan 2017Great going...Nokia having great hardware......But the size... moreI agree dude , screen size of 5' to 5.2' now really matters to be hand fit comfortably followed with that monster specs that would be totally great. So i hope Nokia will consider making it the 'mini' one.

Planning on switching back to Nokio from an iPhone, so waiting for this release. Anybody got a slight idea on what the price range might be for the 6 and the 8?
