Carol, 28 Dec 2018Ok, the issues still persist?Yeah it's still here. I think it maybe related with the model number. Mine's TA-1004. Yours must be different as you don't experience that bug.

In oreo, you only get notifications for missed calls, messages and mail, not any other apps like messenger or whatsapp... With android P, do you get any glance screen changes?

As soon as I did the reset and started the phone, there was an option to completely restore settings and apps. (consumed a bit of wifi bandwidth) :)

But I still can't answer ur question cuz i don't know anything about ur other device

                      I don't know if I qualify to write a review, cuz I bought a used for 1 year. I still wanna say, I have always loved Nokia as a brand. Nokia 1610 was my first device. In Nokia 8 Nothing has changed in build quality, display is bright & colours are punchy, rear cameras are good while front camera could have been better. Overall I am loving switching back to NOKIA

                        And if you go to DO NOT DISTURB mode settings and touch on Messages, reminders and events, settings will crash.

                            After some days with the Pie update (well couldn't resist)... The device is stable but has some annoying bugs. The notification has some serious problems: Like whatsapp stays now in the notification till you dismiss it, so you can write more, and senx and receive without entering the app. The problem is, after you respond and hit mark as read, well, it does not close the notification, does not react, on need to manually swipe it. The music player i have also has a notification that also has a "button" to close the player (if needed) l. The same problem, Pressing it wont close tge notification and if it is a persisten one, yoy can't swipe it either. Battery is the same, i see no difference, Battery app it seems to me does not connect trully with the apps, cause in the app i set more the half of my programs on restricted backgrpund mode, but when j go in the app information setting and battery, they are not restricted, ao you need to restrict them again... I hate when this type of problems occur. In rest, everything looks ok, some glitches here and tgere, hopefully they will be crushed with the next update.

It's like for eg, if i view yout... moreLCD ghosting could be to blame, but you gotta really watch youtube videos for 24 hours to happen... at least i think so. Never had the problem but lcd's are known for it. Even tough they get it, they recover quite fast and do not burn in like amoled.

                                Guys I m facing a problem. It's like for eg, if i view youtube for a long time and then if i go to whatsapp, some traces of youtube screen was shown in whatsapp app like some ghost image. May i know whats the cause for this issue??

As for what i tought before i realised, Night light is something else, in case you were mistaking like me. Dark Mode is also always on, in my devices.

                                    You should consider Nokia 7 plus too...
