Question for veterans in android. First things first. I disabled almost all google crappy apps in my phone. But their is a hidden weather one that i do not find it's interface. Has no widget, app and clock does not show weather. So, does anyone know what fore is this app used? Maps? Google's assistent or what exactly. I reather disable this one too.

Nokia is back!!
I love this phone. I wasn't expecting this kind of quality for the price. It is missing some things I liked from my sony like the dedicated camera button, fingerprint scanner on the power button and being waterproof. But the build quality and sheer processing power of this phone makes up for it.
I think this if for someone that likes a phone to be fast and well built with stock android.

After oreo latest update battery last 4days as normal use. Not used for gaming apps. Very good phone best battery back up.

I am getting network issue in sim 1 slot after oreo 8.1.0 the network seem to be slow. Is any one facing this issue?

Mist, 10 Mar 2018Please share the firewall app detailsSearch for NetGuard. It is a good app, does not infringe your privacy...to much. And has almost no impact on battery. But...their is always a but. It might cause some problems with some apps even if they are allowed to acces internet. For that, the only fix is to turn the firewall off while using them. Till now, this problem i have only with one app. Here we go. A HERE maps app. After installing and turning on, if you notice some strange behavior with some apps(CRASHING OR NOT OPENING) this apps might want to force internet acces and netguard does not let them do whatever they want.

So emails are primary for me. They sync by the minute. Anyways, the battery is very good for me, i can say i easely go throughout the day and still have 40% as i come home. What i found interesting is that it eats double more battery when i use it on data so somewhere between 5 to 7 hours onscreen usage, and hold up to 12 Hours on screen (non-stop) on wireless conneection. A bit strange. What is to mention about this, is that i have all background data off, only whatsapp and outlook is allowed to download data when not in use. I also have a "firewall" that keeps apps blocked from using internt. Performance is from good to verry good. It is a beast. Fast and no lags. Comming from windows mobile, i can say it hold verry well, given the fact that android is not quite the best hardware friend.

How's the battery life and the performance of the device. Here it is the cheapest with good specs snapdragon 835 device. Here it costs 325 USD equivalent and comes with free tempered glass and case. Which i think is a good deal.

amazing phone!
I was very skeptical for the camera before I got the Nokia 8. But after receiving it, it is just fantastic. The photo is absolutely wonderful under normal conditions. I am very happy to see that Nokia is back! And moreover, Nokia is taking care of the existing customers by making all the necessary updates regularly that is not the case of IPHONE and Samsung!! I am going to keep buying it if Nokia keeps its promise!
Full recommendation! Great success Nokia so far. keep it please!
