Damn, this thing is a beast of a phone. Nokia isn't really known for performance, but this thing is basically the best phone of it's price range.

But well, the same time,i'm serious about it. It is all a matter of preferences. I know sony are not bad devices,so i will not degrade them, they helped along the way in mobile indiustry, something i refute everytime when i hear samesung and apple. Just go to that store, and give them a ride. Nokia 8 is as stock as it can be, and their are updates coming quite often, to often if i may say. For me,nokias design is better, i just like how nokia thinks their stuff. Even tough hmd sels them, all New nokia devices have the legacy imprinted in them. Great quality. From build to call, to audio. I do not know hiw tgat sony is, but i know people that converted to siny frim samesung and did not want to return. So, at the end, is your choice, i think bouth are good. I like Nokia more,but that is my prefenrence....

Orero does not let, for the moment to move apps/programs from internal to attached storage. At least, not on nokia 8. Orero, pretty much has some annoying things. But well, their are updates to come.

I know bezeless is something trendy nowadays, but i dont really mind about that so either is fine. For now, nokia need something that will go “Wow". I dont know, maybe something diff that suit from teen to old folks >

Itachi, 27 Jan 2018How is battery life in Nokia 8?Average, lasts about 16 hours for me (I browser the net, social media, play some emulator games Retroarch/PPSSPP, play local music and spotify all day long as well as share wi-fi hotspot from the device). Two days when using it lightly.

U got me there with brand Its nokia after all. I like the polish blue one. But ince nokia is going to announce their second flagship at WMC 2018(if its true) i might hold on getting this for a few months? But i doubt tht i'll be able to do that.

In rest i do not know what to say about it. Yeah, well. If you ain't looking for something that last 10 years(nokia legend) then maybe you should buy sonething what you find more inovative. Do not forget, at the price of nokia 8 you would not find any other device that has a name. And this boy here, elieve me, has speed. Actually, was compared with iphonex, or with samesung s8, and at more then 60% of the times beat them in speed. Search youtube. So i can say at this price, you won't fi d such performance form the oem''s with a name. Anywqy, if you do not worry about money, then. Have fun:). Their are a lot of devices that are called very good. From users. Maybe they are. Point is, at the end, a phone is a phone. If you do not worry about a alot i worry, then just buy what you like the most. If it ain't working, you can always ring it back.

Not really interested in any other phone that doesn't bring anything new. Nokia did it with their bothie and can be stream live so i was like wow, i need to try this. Ozo? Well until i get it myself i can tel the diff between stereo speaker. Moreovee, nokia got ZEISS at the back and i was like “okey i definitely need to get this. " then again htc make something with their htc u11. Phone that can be squeeze? “okey,let see what it can do. Hmmm, something like a screen gesture but through the edge sense. U take a picture by just squeezing it. But sony got the camera button too, both mke it easy. But still that glass back looking nice.im going to try this 1 myself. " so here's the thing, what u state doesn't bother me at all. 5'3 inch is fine by me. Atleast nokia did not remove headphone jack and sd card slot(a big letdown to me). Bezelless or not i dont really care. As you read this u might get the answer already. Its all about personal preference. Both phome will become handy to me this year for our family big event but that bothie will be a big help. Guess what, while writing this i found my resolve. Ahaha. I can judt get the u11 in another 5 months.

AnonD-731121, 24 Jan 2018How many time do i have to ask lol. Sorry. Im still confuse. Well, it is simple. If you want fancy and gimmicky screens, do not buy this Nokia. It's bassels are not shy. If you want big screens, do not buy this Nokia. 5'3 might sound enough, but for me, coming from 950xl is kinda small. I am a very picky person when it comes to my hardware. I liked the lumia 950xl very very much, i didn't quite appreciate the hardware quality, let's say... Was not Nokia quality. I have nothing to complain abot this device till now, but only about the system, which does not impress me quite at all. I would love this device if it would have been windows and windows would have still been supported by peoples/ microsoft. Anyway, going back to biying. The decision is yours. I, my self would never pay more then 2 euros for a one plus devices, xiaomi or what ever other copycats that never invest in innovation and quality. They can't the prices, and all just do not go well together. I would have also never tought about this comparison. Nokia vs whatever boatmade device. To compare them with blackberry or sony and maybe samesung. But onplus? Anyway, as i wasaying. The camera is somehow slow, something it ain't right with the firmware, but i hardly take any picturess this days(no time) so it does not bother me. This are the only flows i can find. Stop listening to others and make a plan. What you want: then take in considerance experience, support, life of the device. Signal quality, voce quality problems android will always have. Formatig possibilities. Less crapp installed on it, chances for the need to format, decrese. If you doubt Nokia quality, then well you should definetly doubt oneplus quality. Just 2 gb ram more won't change the problems that might occure from a device drsigned from unexperienced people trying to copy others work... Anyway, at the end, this is my opinion.

I have not seen any options to stop the process when i got mine. Orero 8.1 is on the corner, as far as i know, will bmkre stable and battery even better.

Got nokia 8 a month ago. It was a bit buggy since the start especially the camera. Since i received a few updates, the phone started to work better and yesterday i received 8.1 oreo beta update which has made this phone super cool. Speedy af and awesome battery life. Camera still sucks not in the quality but the focusing. I own a oneplus 5 and huawei mate 10 also but i like nokia 8 better than my mate 10 in the performance. Overall it is ultra fast even with the pixel like transitions. Nokia/hmd please make the camera app better and this phone is going to be one of a kind android device.
Forgot to mention about the display. OMFG it is amazing.
