Nokia 800 Tough

I had this phone in my hands, few subjective comments about Nokia 800 tough:
- In size its bigger then CAT B35
- OS looks laggy, youtube/internet is slow (the hardware is like a 4 year old smart phone)
- If you want to find a name on the contact list: you have a problem.
- integrated battery, it is not replacable..
- almost the same hardware as CAT B35
- torch light is weak, but it looks stronger then cat b35
In general it looks solid, strong design, but the hardware inside is old, and the KaiOS is
somehow involved with google. Plus it has google assistant, which is a clear question: who thought at Nokia seriously it is an important feature to have google assistant on a dumb phone?
There is an open source project alternative to KaiOS called GerdaOS, but its still in development (beta).. (https://gerda.tech/) Nokia 800 hardware is the same as Nokia 8110, just its a more robust design. By price comparison: Nokia 8110: like 40eur, Nokia 800: 120 eur: you pay for the solid design.
Reading comments all around the forums, it looks clear: many people need a normal dumb phone with current features (8-10mpx cam, 10.000 contact, rugged, strong torch, and without google/android.. maybe any linux, under 100eur?)
Anyone has experience with Hammer 5 Smart?

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2019Symbian is dead because the yanks killed it(Microsoft)simple!It comes with whatsapp preinstalled. It has two limitants vs the one you find in Android and iOS: No whatsapp phone calls / video calls and you cannot back up your chats. Either way I am loving the phone...

Anonymous, 22 Nov 20195 days later .... still no contacts. Tried also importing j... moreI had a Nokia 216 with more than 600 contacts on it. I finally managed to copy all the contacts from N216 to N800. I did the backup of all contacts from N216 to the SD, changed the name of the file (from "backup.dat" to "2019_12_12_18.vcf") and put it to the root of the SD. Than used the "import contacts from memory" on the N800 and everything went just fine. Even the photos I've put on some contacts were transfered.
