Amy!, 09 May 2013Even the Lumia 820/920 uses the Carl Zeiss Optics. I am usi... moreYour 920 is running a half baked OS and it lacks many things:

        1) No USB On the Go
        2) No FM Transmitter
        3) No HDMI/TV Out
        4) Lack the capability of accomodating 41MP Camera and Giant Sensor of 808 (at least until now Q2 2013)
        5) No FM Transmitter
        6) Non replaceable battery
        7) No VPN conectivity
        8) No Micro SD External Card Slot
        9) Cannot multi task 40-50 apps simultaneously (your phone will be dying to do this)
10)Don't have Multiple Home Screens, Widget, Short Cuts, Themes, and has a very limited customization (you only one place Live Tiles UI)
        11) No JAVA support
        12) Depend heavily on Zune software for multimedia management

So don't preach that 808 has no apps no fun. Symbian is a mature and capable OS. There are more than enough apps on Nokia Store and 808 Fan Club. There are also several sites that have 3rd party apps for this phone.

AnonD-65020, 09 May 2013i don't understand where its available for 17 k, its seems ... moreyou will not find 808 in any brick store, if you try to ask thrm they might ask you which phone is this? Beleive me it happened with me in couple of stores.

Anyways back to topic. You will find this phone availble on major online portals for Rs 17000 or even less. Try portals like flipkart, snapdeal, infibeam, ebay.in and zoomin.com(you get for Rs 16000 here actually).

Get the stock before it runs out.

The downside of your 920 are the following:
                    no micro sd card slot
                    non removable/replaceable battery
definitely not the best cameraphone out there!
                    No fm transmitter
                    no hdmi port

Now name all the popular apps you know and mostly symbian belle has it!

Know first before you make any conclusions.!

This phone is great at current price levels but the SAR ratings keeps me away from it.Does any one have an idea if Nokia downgraded the hardware at current price levels it looks dirt cheap unbeliveable.

I was tracking 808 from last july when it got released in India for Rs 34000 and that was too costly for me to buy at that time and hence could not get that last year.

Then in January this year Nokia actually announced price cut from Rs 34000 to Rs 25000.

But now its price is again slashed to Rs 17000 couple of weeks back but this time Nokia hasn't made any announcement, may be due to the fact that 808 is not available on Nokia priority shops or on its online portal.

But at Rs 17000 its really a good steal, even if we forget pureview technology or 41MP sensor, than also its a good price just for phone and its other features.

Otherwise we all know at this price you will only get junkie Lagroid phones only and 808 is way ahead than those phones.

The price of 808 slashed from 34500 to 17000 in India. I got it for 25000 2 months ago and regret to some extent. Such a huge price drop in just one year after launch. Didn't get what nokia did with the monster 808. Stopping the manufacture of n8 and 808 for 17000. I shall have waited some time...!
