Can anybody help me out here . I am thinking of buying a phone. My priorities are good camera ,good music player and sound quality and screen clarity . I know 808 has good camera and sound clarity but is the low resolution screen a problem . And does it affect the screen clarity . Anybody who owns this phone please give me a suggestion .

Just waiting for Nokia 9th May event in India and then 14th May event in London to see if Nokia really pleases us with a proper pureview (Not lumia 920 pureview) on Windows and take the technology and photography to next level.

raikoris, 01 May 2013got this phone a couple of months back n yes the camera is ... moreThat is not a problem, nor a bug. That is how the system was made. If you deactivate vibration in your profile, will not vibrate when locking either. Or when you turn into silent or other user profile that does not have vibration turned on. Also when is charging will not vibrate at all. Anyway, why would you want to deactivate this function? Is not something annoying:).

have anyone updated the software from 113.010.1506 to 113.010.1508.
What are the improvements ? Have anyone noticed the change.
And one thing more I heard that this phone price has decreased and also its quality has decreased. Is it true. N8 some days earlier was being sold at Rs 18k but 808 now is available for 18 k.
                      We got for 25k.
Nokia always cheats. Not good to buy even after a year of launch. No good pricing. It's skimming price strategy.
                      Any expert plz reply.

Anonymous, 29 Apr 2013Nokia actually owns many OSes: Symbian, MeeGo, Meltemi, and... moreIn fact, Nokia abandoned MeeGo support. And the developers of MeeGo formed into a new crew with a new name and a new platform name... of course: jolla sailfish. More exactly, Sailfish is a resurrected MeeGo. Ok, not yet... but, it should be:)

Hey guys, unfortunately i bring bad news for Symbian today (for those who had not heard it by now). Apparently Symbian theme development will go down by the half of this year. Meaning that Nokia will stop supporting free will developers to sell and promote their themes on Nokia store. http://symbian-developers.net/symbian-art-is-dead/ . Man was i mad when i commented on this news...

@ManoharManohar. Hey, i'm still on N8. After all the new releases, nothing is impressive for me anymore. So i have plenty of time to buy 808 cause i don't have any other to buy after it. The n8 and 808 will be in history for me and i think i will never sell them nor give them away (of course, after i buy 808). Anyway, thank you for your wishes and i hope they will become true soon:D:).

@localhyd: Thank you for your kind words, but you know i'm no where near that:). Out there are many more better then me with this system... in every way:).

Anyway, i have a small interesting and practical new app for you. http://symbian-developers.net/belle-extra-taskbars-startmenu-for-symbianbelle/ . Try it, it is only 99 cents and will be developed into grater functionality. Wish you all a nice day...

surya, 01 May 2013hai friends am confused becouse so many smart phone availab... more808 pureview is the best of Symbian, it's not a super fast chip device, but it's full of features, and in some markets it's being sold brand new for $350, which is quite good. Lumia 720 is an excellent midrange with WP8, you may find it at $450. You may go for Androids, but in my experience the android midrangers are not worth, the only good androids are the highends, SgS4, Htc one, XperiaZ, at the range of $900. Or you may go for Lumia920 at $650 which is much more worth for daily use than any other. Iphone and blackberry i don't recommend unless you're a big fan of them.
