hi frnds finally i got dis beauty... Its looking so sexy, very nice mbl. M fall in love at 1st site this mbl. Very stylish in hands... I expected tooo much 4this cam(41 mp), bt m little bit un satisfy for dis performance. It have no long lenth joom... Dolby Music is outstanding.. Fabulas music in head phones. Nice mbl...

AnonD-78201, 13 Mar 2013hi blue, i agree with you, even, i too, haven't received... morehyy yeah but iv fixed the bugs n its working all good, i got other files camera and gallery update files for nokia 808 n i installed all restarted my phone b4 opening the gallery or the cam, all seems to wrk fine nw. No bugs now. I gues id got wrong files for another phone maybe (701) but it wrks fine now..

i agree with you, even, i too, haven't received both the updates (camera+gallery and telephony).
like you, i have also, installed the camera+gallery update from some site but it seems to be buggy :( !!

i finally got the gallery and camera update- the official one.. WOw i love it.. I see the the difference and i'm not sure but the screen looks a little sharper now and the widgets a bit darker. The auto brightness of the phone i think has been fixed.. I love it! I hope there will be some more updates to come.. I am eager for major updates! Thanks nokia!! Keep it up!! ^___^

But overall 808 is a better phone than Lumia710. So I suggest you to get 808.

i have a problem. im not getting the updates
1.camera and gallery update
2. telephony update
i downloaded the camera and gallery update from elsewhere and im facing a problem.
1. every time i take pics the gallery keeps refreshing
2. every time i take a picture, when i click to open it from the camera app to view it doesn't move to the next pic.. if i delete it it hangs says refreshing, refreshing... :(

M planin to buy a new phone n m totaly con... moreGreetings my friend, 808 is a superior phone respect 720, could say also that is not a "fair" comparison (usually people are between 808 and 920). Apart that and supposing that you are not 90 years old :-) you'll have plenty of time to deal with the lumias in the future. Read carefully also the gsmarena test. Greetings :-)

As for my N8, i can tell you all my apps if you want me to. The rest are just some personal likes customizations:). I had my mind set one time to do a real review of the n8 to show to the people the real Symbian. Also to put it against my brothers android and his wife's (both have sony). For people to see who really lags... But, N8 is to old now. There are better Symbian devices now: LIKE 808:D or 701 (this one lacks camera, but is faster then N8). You will need to identify your self if you want me to accept you, you will find a way to do it:)). I won't accept others, so please don't bother. I like my privacy.

Here is the address for it if you still want to open navifirm: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=17851. Kind of sux cause it will take some time to install. Anyway, is better to do what anonymous said if you find it easier. Now, for flashing, use dead flash mode. Even if the phone starts. Procedure: keep your phone plugged in usb then start phoenix (close your antivirus and close nokia suite first, in case it is opened). Now do what this video shows (dead flashing tutorial starts after the first normal flash tutorial, just fast forward the video till the dead flash tutorial)
