got myself a White Nokia 808 PureView... love it! a little too bulky though, but i don't really care now!

And you lost letter k?? Lol. You got to be kidding me or you're just a plain troll.. Yes it's sad that nokia abandoned symbian but not totally cause we will still get support until a couple of years or so. After all these days we're still getting updates.. And you can look for apps anywhere not just by opening nokia store!
This phone is awesome and outshine many of android shitphones today!! I totally like the built quality and i can tell that it is of premium quality!

I need yor comment, because I´m thinking about buying this handset. And I'm deciding between Lumia 920 and 808 Pureview.

AnonD-76246, 24 Feb 2013I wish it was with Android OS :\Hi, I´ve got a 808 (my last phone was a N8), and really the build quality is not good (I lost the letter "k" of "NOKIA" from the reverse. By the other hand, Nokia don´t support Symbian any more. This is a very bad issue. Certenly, the camera is excelent, but the price is very high if you consider the low performance while Sony lunch Xperia Z, or LG with her Optimus G, or HTC with One. 808 would have been the better phone five years ago.

AnonD-79951, 26 Feb 2013Finally i got my 808 it's ok.... manufactured from china bu... moreHi my friend, just wanted to tell you if you look carefully the chapter "unboxing 808 gsmarena test" and zooming the fotos you will see that is written "made in China" and consider also that the device tested from gsmarena is more than official. In adittion, the gsmarena test says that built quality is excellent so you have nothing to worry about. However i asked also info if for Europe exists 808 made in Finland but i dont think so, but who cares? 808 will be my next phone (after N8). Be proud to have it and enjoy it:))))

Finally i got my 808 it's ok.... manufactured from china but evrything looks ok anyway it is guaranteed form factory for 2 years phone is superb i ll share my experience often :)

mine is also from China... i think the newly manufactured 808 came from china... but i wiah its from finland or india though

I can say that I'm bet disappointed because I wasn't able to sleep from the thinking what Nokia will really do in the MWC???... I was waiting for the Lumia 1001 EOS pureview...
any way that's better they didn't released it, because to be honest with you even after potrico update and the great performance for such mid and entry phones like Lumia 620,510...WP OS still needs very hard developing and fixing all of it's camera algorithms bugs...Nokia is working hard now and they pass with very critical moment...How to make WP OS can handle such a Camera and it's capabilities like Symbian did and do.

and I really hope Nokia will success in this Hard mission, because it will be like making whole new OS not such copy/past from 808 pureview.
WP OS needs more and more time and developing and I love how Nokia send secret message for us that now is not the right time to release the real pureview 41 mp with WP OS... we are developing and spend a lot of time to get the best result.
This also means Nokia will smash all WP OS imaging bugs and bring us real innovation...that's why I love Nokia (perfect innovation)

Guys lets just be honest every fone has it good and bad side....I think I will try to be as honest as possible. ...I have 3 fones...main fone 808 ( got one more 808 coz I love the fone and camera now I have 2 808 one black and one white ) ...now my main fone is 808....then comes note 2 and then bb 9900 for bbm only....I love cameras so nothing beats 808...plus nokia hardware...batt life...sound quality...doent heat up like note wen we have long conversation. ...built quality. ...note 2 excellent for games, surfing apps....downside to both fone 1) Note 2 : its battery life barely a day....heats up a lot....lot of app crashes....built quality. ..talking on note 2 not very comfortable. ..big size.....now Nokia 808 : I think only 808 lacks is many apps....mainly if skype video calling and viber and instagram come to it then perfect. ...hope it helps people....just my opinion as I own the fone and use it daily....

hi friends already i m owner N8 more than 1 year and coming my 808 tomorrow i m very excited... but it is produced in china.. any diference among phones produced in china and others?
