I agree with you and with our friend. In adittion would like to say (apart eventualy differences rigarding software or hardware) that the main differnce,the most important thing that is absent, that lucks in lumias is the "mentality"!!! As a Nokia flagship user - 15 years almost - from the legendary "chameleon"(nickname of 6150 here in Greece) - 8210-6210-6310-N73 music edition - E71 - N958g till now, as you already know last 2 years N8 user, all Nokia devices no matter if are smartphones or businesphones or just the classic phone device, all have had something unique, something special...lets say the magic word "personality" or better "mentality". Now, all the devices are called windowsphones no matter if are Nokia, samsung or htc...and this is obvious, you can understand it and feel it when you hold a lumia in your hand. At least this is the xperience i get and my opinion always good willing :)))

Hey guys
Got a 808PV last week..and its a really great phone. Have been using a Note and a Nokia E72. The belle FP2 is way ahead of the S60. No doubts about that.
Compared to note, it certainly cant compete with ICS. However, for a person using basic fetures and a symbian fan, 808PV is the way to go.
The camera is seriously awesome. Video recording is great. Note camera pales in front of PV808.
Sound quality is equally good. Most importantly, its a Nokia made phone, hence the build quality is simply brilliant. Way better than most phones currently in the market.
However, its a little heavy as compared to the existing smartphones. Hey, but what do you expect with a 41mp sensor loaded in it!!
Its a matter of getting used to it..
And the screens resolution is perfect..cant really make out a difference between Note and 808.
And the messaging feature is again a winner all the way..its really intuitive..predicts the next word correctly in most sentences.
its great to have an option to store messages in separate folder. Most OS nowadays lack that feature.

East or West Nokia is truly the Best! NOKIA 808 pureview is in one word excellent in every respect! Its camera, video quality,imaging, photos, internet speed,etc, everything is mind blowing! I am using it, so i know, it is the Best!

If 808 just have OIS, I would have chosen 808.
If Lumia 920 has Rich Recording, I would choose Lumia 920.
Damn! I can't choose in which to buy.

Because of seeing people waiting lumia pure view or something like that, as a Nokia flagships user for more than a decade and after having see the lumias i can tell to all Nokia funs (my opinion at least - always good willing) the most important thing that lumias lacks apart eventually lack of hardware or software, is the mentality!!!!!!!! i mean the reall Nokia spirit. No matter if they put 41 or 410 mp camera dual or triple core the lumia never gonna be a real Nokia flagship. Maybe a windows phone as already began to nominate them no matter if are Nokia Samsung or HTC they are just windows phones and noting else.... They don't have lets say personality, neither mentality which is important, at least for me

As for Lumia, i feel that Nokia is forcing ms hands to do a better system, a more functionality and opened mind system. Until now, nokia sold their souls to microsoft. But i hope they realised that mistake and will force microsoft to make a better system for their hardware. If we are to use wp, to use the best wp out there then. Anyway, if there is to come a real pureview lumia device. I am shore will distroy everything on the market. But not so shore people will cross platforms so soon. Samsung is in vogue, there are so many kids and close minded boys, that are not even looking at what is better out there. Exactly like apple fanboys:)).

But the old ones is normal to fade cause the new ones are out. And i reather take an n8 the a n97 or an n73. Old must go, new must win. For them to survive, at least. But we still have the chance to find them, even if not in poduction anymore. So to say, here i can find nokia 7610 at 70 euros, new(they say). So for who want's a good old model, it is not hard to find:). As for this models to be ressurected in other forms and better specs... What would be the point? I don't see any point in that:).

No one pays more money for older (though, new, unused) then for a new one, even if it has better specs. Hell, nobody buys an older model. Nokia needs money:). Now, why the new ones are not so smart as the older:-?. I have no clue either. Maybe their market research proved that this are not needed. That users don't need allot of those things. This also applies with symbian fp2. I never used front camera, but i would mind not having it at my wish:)). Is kind of dumb but.... I don't know, this is the life:).

Letting users without some ordinary symbian options, and lacking the use of the front camera, is one of them:). You can still download scam for using it or there are others i can't remeber. But all can be found in store (sCam is free). And for the question... Yes, front camera activates only when video-calling.:)

Hey carol how are you,just want know why nokia close good running model why any company do take for example,nokia n95,n73,e63,5800,5230,c5,e72,5130, these are few models i liked and very good but now none these upgrade of available on stores,i purchased nokia 206,which is costly then x202 which has more features then nokia 206,basics are missing in this phone like usb,wireless fm,call alert vibration,2mp cam ,these things are missing in nokia 206,but price is higher then x202,why they dont upgrade in terms of specifications with price,they degrading specifications and increase price just by changing looks which no body want we expected from nokia to to come with more features and less in price,

From last night HTC event and the so called hype arou... moreHTC one is a one big copy cat... the newsfeed is similar to windows 8 live tiles, the ultrapixel can be compared to nokia's pureview technology. I'm still looking at it though.. hey buddy 808 is indeed a piece of great craftmanship! ;)
