Hi friends please help me I updated my phone from nokia care centre but after that nokia mobile dictionary is not working I download hindi language from nokia website but it shows blocks in place of hindi meaning. They retry but nothing happens can you help me friends.

hey carol,just want to ask you one qstn why nokia smart phone user cannot feel comfortable while using even s3 or iphone 5 or htc butterfly.

Please my Nokia808 touch screen has been hanging for few days now,i was told to restart the phone i did and took off the battery and fixed it in again,still having thesame problem now.PLEASE WHAT DO I DO?

I would say it is good that is new, cause they will invest more in new os then in a old os. As for android, i really don't see it that advanced.... Now, this thing you say about fring is fishy to me. Something is not right there. They have an option called fringoutcall which you have to pay, cause with it you can voice call people directly on their phone, No internet no nothing is needed for the receiver. But, if someone has fring and you have it's number, you should see this options when accesing it's number. Fring call (free) Video call (free) Fringoutcall (not free), cellular call (which is useless, this type of call you can do without fring:) and invite to fring. So, you should manage to make a free video call without problems, everyone is doing it:)

hey friends could any one suggest me the shooting mode in 808 for cloudy days as m unable to get details of the photo captured.
I tried the cloudy scene mode but disappointed.
In creative mode what shuld i do plz reply anyone..

Your dad is incorrect. Both Windows and Symbian are far more superior to Android... Android is a buggy, shitty os that can make even the best hardware lag.

trnsharma, 16 Feb 2013my 808's touchscreen behaves abnormal whenever I plug in ch... moreI Faced the same problem with my previous N8 but when I plugged it into Sub speakers or great speakers...audio quality is great but the touch functionality was very laggy and almost didn't work...that cause of battery issue I think...the big speakers drains the battery very quick and may be your charger is weak so you can't use the phone during charging it...if you use the original charger...then I thinks that's normal in Symbian and lot of phones cause I saw Lumia 920 face the same.

My dad and i read your responce. an dmy dad told me that phone have its own cons and pros. he said that window phone 8 is a new in mobile industry yet android is almost far better. for me your right 808 is a good option. and regarding the fring. i am trying to make a videocall but there was a site open and i do need to pay $19 per call? what should i do about it?

my 808's touchscreen behaves abnormal whenever I plug in charger to charge my phone. It remains as it is as long as the charger is plugged in. Swiping the screen does not work but other touch functions work correctly. I am unable to swipe unlock and swipe homescreen. When I disconnect charger, it works fine. There is no problem then. Is there anybody who is facing the same problem?
@Carol: can you guide why it is happening. My device is 20 Days old.

I would choose s3 crapp over iphone, i don't like samsung, but ios for me, is even Crapier then android. I see that nokia is not in your list. Now, if i would have had enough money and this would have been my decision, i would have choose lumia for internet, apps and design and 808 for the rest:). If not, i would just buy 808. But... This is me. I cannot recommend you iphone, cause i, my self, have a very bad opinion about it. All i like about it, is that is not very big and is made with good materials. But there are better fishes for me, regarding good quality premium devices. And those are lumia or 808. Now... If i were you?! I would buy lumia, cause i see you don't mind closed systems. So lumia over iphone? With my eyes closed. In every aspect posible is better. Better screen, better browsing innovative and a hell lot of functions making iphone look like an amateur. Now, if you really like iphone so much then go for 4s, there are very small diferences between 5 and 4s. So you get the same crap os with no real life prooves that is not as good as 5, a bit thicker (no dissadvantage or advantage) and with less money, this is a good advantage:). Now stop being confuse, pic a good device and use it. It is not like you will marry it or somethin'. So, you ask me which i think is the best. I talled you now. The best is 920, now, if you don't like it, just go for iphone ar s3. Neither are very bad devices. It all depends on your point of view:).
