Anybody from India can confirm that 808 3.5G problem has been nailed down by Nokia, I'm facing 3.5G problem since I bought this phone...

If Nokia could make phones like 701 at a lower price, will sale for shore allot more then crappy a*s cheap androids. I said a story earlier about my interaction with some mid-rage mobile phones. And the 701 was the best out of them, but i didn't buy it cause was not reduced anymore. Remember? Well i got it, reduced of course:). At 150 euros without contract and that quality, it is just great. I would buy another one:)). Ok, wasn't for me, but i recommend it to everyone who can find it at lower price, is way faster then N8. At bigger price (300 euros, as it sales in europe) is not worthy cause you can save some money and buy the mighty 808. Ok, this only if you are in the camera:P.

Try to make a simple symbian at low prices. With Whatsapp application is already available. I noticed prey android market by providing thousands of free and cheap phone. Themore the new world. The more people are looking for a cheap smart phone.

Nokia should not have abandon Symbian.
Just a dual core Symbian should be able to beat any OS currently in the market.

but u knw when u need to convince the 'someone' that is the only one who's going to buy it for u :D... a hands on experince is needed ;)

Actually I used my n8 for almost 19-20 months. I was hoping some good updates from nokia till last month. But nokia gone out of market. No software update, the latest belle refresh was also not good. Poor ram, poor interface, poor battery, poor processor, only camera was excellent till now, its better than other smartphone in the market.
So finally I bought samsung galaxy note2. Its just awesome phone.
I think nokia should have concentrated on developing symbian. Like android they are updating their firmware in series with lots of new features. This way nokia would have developed symbian..

I've used Nokia 701 and later gave it up for Nokia N8 because i wanted a better camera. That shift/move wasn't without its cost- 701 is super fast and N8 produces super pics and excellent videos.
Nokia has combined the two features in one, Nokia 808 purview, but it's too costly for some of us.
They have said they'd support symbian till 2015/16 (I'm not sure which). I only wish they'll make more devices and not just wait for the available ones to die off. Purview devices with maybe 12 and 16 mega pixels or even 8mp.

amazing , just amzing. I took two photos at night. one is on ISO on auto mode and another one is at 1600. picture taken at 1600 ISO setting is just amazing.
