Window phones are for graduates and android for students. symbian is great (esp since belle) but it has the same problem as window phones- no apps.
I once used galaxy gio but sold it because it was low on many things. But it did get one thing right, it had a great dictionary with many useful apps for a student which are readily available in sites like waptrick. Symbian of course has dictionary but if you are not in US I pity you.
Right now I'm confused on which one to buy. I have used both android and symbian but never windows and i so much want to go for the later but, but i still have 2yrs in the higher institution. Which means it should be android coz of apps.
Can anybody help me make a better decision?

AnonD-91246, 25 Dec 2012I compared the photos taken by my 808pv and my bro's n8. it... moredear harish,s u r right pv is such legend no phone stand in front of it..in anything camera,music , UI,every penny is spent on pv is worth i really pity on those who spent more than pv to buy crap high end phones i don't understand how they will be happy i can't stop my self without nokia specially pv.i luv my pv tnx to nokia i got what i want....a true legend.

I compared the photos taken by my 808pv and my bro's n8. it was 808pv's 8MP vs n8's 12MP. But the result was shocking for me. 808's performance was much much much better than n8's 12MP. I'm very happy to have that monster. :-D

image quality is 1000% better than samung,s galaxy cam.....
And belle os is just great......compared to glxy cam its best......
And nokia is allways best

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2012All is good, but the average user will use it, feel it, exp... moretry a Cfw with N8 and It is not slow.there is a camera mod for N8 that dont compress the image so hard.that is a great phone.my 808 runs a Cfw just to install apps that are available for N8 but not 808.the phone I use most are 808 and SGS2.N8 and SGS3 I have give away to friends.now I will buy a N9 also to try.maybe to replace SGS2.I have tried 920 and dont like WP at all.miles away from Belle.

Htc and samsung are also using that platform. Its so stupid of Nokia. Only people that will laugh all the way to the bank is microsoft. Now Nokia will compete with rivals with same os.....lol. Its stupid! We must go for belle...only way. Camera should be nr two marketing tool.

It is light years above Symbian S60 and comparable to all existing modern OSes in the market. In fact, what makes 808PV a great phone is because 808PV is using a very capable Nokia Belle FP2. Without Belle, for example, there is no way Nokia will have the ability to deliver a 41 MP camera phone in 2012, and win various awards from here and there.

friends nothing can beat pv its awsome phone we can do more changes to pv screen with so many themes which is not possible in android phone,when we change theme in android the main UI doesn't change check that and camera is worst even 8mp also and no phone is good in music output i have checked they launched with so many name xloud in sony and beat audio i n htc phone those who are using doesn't even know how much fun in in n8 or in pv they are missing be it in camera or dolby or durability nothing id comparable to nokia phones i pity for them just they are misleading by sony,samsung,htc,or any other phones if nokia launched stores across globe to use and buy policy then it's a hell for other phones manufacturers nokia should come up with live phones in stores with headphones and good sales guyz to explain to customers the potential of nokia im not denying nokia display but at few places it has dummy phones and can not experience fully...

JP, 23 Dec 2012Hi 808 users..plz help me..i am planning to buy this phone,... morego ahead buy it. It's way better than c7.. I have both..! I love nokia phones because of their superior quality.. My 808 last one and half to two days of heavy usage and i have no major issues or problems as far as the connectivity is concerned.. Good Luck! :)

And one thing, apart from slow speed of of n8 and maybe screen readability, its a far better phone than GS3 by miles!! How come people dont see it? 808 is in same category as GS3 and IP5, but lot of reviews are saying that nokia belle is behind!! How in the world? Its on par or even better! Am i that stupid? Lol...
