AnonD-21195, 11 Dec 2012I bought the phone 2 weeks back.I'm loving the experience.I... moreI don't think Windows phones will be able to feature the FM Transmitter,due to its software capability, that's why i die die will hold on to 808 PV till it breakdown and beyond repair,i get this phone is because of the magic feature of FM Tx,you won't get it in other brands,so i cherish my 808 like gold,there won't be any successor of 808.I owned N8 before,but sold it to get 808,i feel 808 is far better than N8.

Hi all,
I'm die heart Symbian fan.My next phone surely gonna Nokia 808.I see suffient amount apps over web but some times i miss few android apps/games (but i never regret being Symbian user)which are not avaiable for Symbian.does anyone know,how to run android stuff on Symbian??

Even thouse games that require dualcore can be made for symbian. In the world of technology, everything is posible. Now, why aren't they developing this for symbian to?! I don't know, all i can say is what i think. So, in most situations is about the money. About making a quick buck. Now, Symbian market is infested with piracy and we are not so many users left either. Also, to develope somethig for symbian is harder then for android. This could be a fault to: work more, getting payed less. So, who's ready to make the sacrifice for the sacke of this platform? Minding the fact the 90% of them uses warez. But at the end i think Nokia reacted like 'morons' when comes to symbian or meego. I don't know what was the cach, or why Nokia had such a bad management in the past 3years. It is hard to understand so much supidity and innovation in the same time. It is like Nokia was throwing money out the window. Maybe they were so proud that they have not realized the storm comming from behind. And now, because that cocky behavior symbian fans are abbandoned. You never know. But i think that now this is just the begining, will get worst. To the point in which you will find only old stuff in warez forums. Or this, or nokia brings symbian back, after this lesson they took, with some great futures. I hoped that allot, now i don't believe it anymore.... But never know.

Its only one week when I bought my Nokia 808 PureView, the phone is very nice, am enjoying its features.

Hey carol,have some question those who develop games for android why dont they develop for pv as it has good processor or better then some android phones..i checked games like temple run,unicorn dash many other hd games run on below 1ghz also...i saw i must run game on an android phone then i searchd in nokia store i found it worked very well on n8,but for pv its not avaiable on store if that can run why don't they develop for belle too .

I bought the phone 2 weeks back.I'm loving the experience.It has all the features packed in one device. and it has a decent processor.so Interface is really smooth and far better than nokia N8. Previously I owned a Nokia N8. so I really feel the deference.Loving the clear black display. It doesn't have million applications. But have more than enough applications for good smart phone. No complains. So sad that the nokia is going to discontinue symbian Platform.They don't have good features like FM transmitter in new windows phones.

But that doesn't change my way of seeing things, so i ignore the "fashionized" herd:)). You can try online stores or Ebay. It sucks that you cannot see it and test it before (I can see it in a electronic store called mediamarkt, it is a store for everything and has mobiles to, but is under a glass-box, you cannot touch it:))) but is enough that you ca buy it:). Here are allot of online contracts you can make and then purchase this jewel. Anyway is better now then was 5 months back. When i couldn't find it even online.

i'm also N8 user. Even here in Athens you must do the "007 agent" to find it, also be misunderstood or get angry by the hypocrisy when you ask for it in the shops....anyway sooner or later i hope to get one for me too. The funny thing is that despite the fact that in my country pureview has received xlent opininons from reviews (e.g. www.digitallife.gr, which also inform us for the gsm_arena test and the foto samples) people (and not neccesary young people as someone may suppose) has become "fashion victim", you know what i mean. It's a question of mentality.
