Hi guys plz stop to hate nokia its one time leader dominatet mobile world for more then 15yrs & i am sure everyone in the world once used nokia but now nokia is strugling & now they complietly depended on wp8 if it fail i am sure they backup plan will be android ok lets talk about 808 its truely a master piece now people asking to much frm a phone like quad core etc which u r not going to use it what a phone need a good quality in hardware good looks good music player good video player good browser & good camera dicent os i think 808 is perfect nokia belly is not slow its good guys go ahead with 808 thanks

AnonD-5465, 28 Jul 2012wanna cheap phone get s2 or iphone4 or any usual cheap and... moresory i hav already bought iphone 3Gs and now iphone 4s and you can also see my post in any forum like iphone, iphone 3s(my first iphone), iphone4, iphone 4s, galaxy s2,galaxy Y, galas3 s3, n8, 5800, 5230(my first nokia phone) ipad, ipad 2, ipad 3, ipad 3 wifi and now 808 pure view! I don't know why gsmarena delete some of my post! But if nokia low the price for me rure i will buy it but i dont want to use it just only for camera (useless)

This phone is absolutly stunning
for what it is. Its got a 41mp
camera which as shown,gives
incredible shots which opens up a
whole field of opportunity with
avid photographers. Its a phone that can text, call, check emails
and browse facebook. For me,
thats all i ever do on a phone. I
dont play angry birds, because i
have a PS3 at home along with a
gaming rig. Phone games are a waste of time, and when you
consider it, thats really the only
thing that symbian doesnt have.
The iPhone 4s is overpriced, and
although it has a decent OS its
absolutly nothing compared to the 808. Owning an android
myself, i notice i barely ever use
it for anything other then
calling, texting, checking
facebook, browsing the web and
taking photos. Thats what a phone is for, not playing angry
birds while your sitting on the
toilet. The 808 in my opinion
brings everything to the table,
its got Nokias amazing build
quality, its not 2mm thick so its impossible to hold in your hand
(and who buys a phone cause its
"sexy"?) This phone does
everything you want it to do,
and it just works. I for a fact,
am starting to save for this very phone as i love the fact
that you can just be walking
along, listening to music on your
phone, see an interesting sight,
and snap it up, without it being
in a grainy mess of a resolution like most days cellphones. Like i
said, this opens up a world of
opportunitys, and really, if your
buying a phone for games, then
your wasting your money as
their not made for games. I honestly wonder why people
consider the iOS devices "gaming
handhelds" when their not. a
gaming handheld is a device
specidically made for gaming, like
the DS or the Vita, not a phone. The 808 is not a gaming device.
Symbian has very little games.
But what the 808 DOES have,is
Free navigation, a mindblowingly
good camera, great sounding
calling, a good music player, proper social integration with
sites like Facebook and Twitter,
along with a decent browser
(although im told the free Opera
browser is miles ahead of the
stock Symbian one) The 808 is a proper, 'Smart'phone.

hey guys lets all stop and think. By the end of the day we are in this forum because we are phone enthusiasts. Whether you are android , iphone, RIM or some other brand at some point we probably all owned nokia phones. Am a die hard nokia fan and always used nokia but i must admit that the symbian OS however efficient and full of features still has glitches. Take the nokia 500 while still using ana it kept resarting but i still love nokia.!
Anyway we all know when it comes to hardware nokia are the best. Just issues with the OS. This can be seen with this 808 pureview. Awesome camera. Looking at nokia as a company it is going through major changes and with the laying off of many employees and not deciding which OS to use (read they not using meltemi anymore). Am thinking the 808 could be the last truly 'nokia' phone and regardless of which camp you support be it iOS or android lets get this phone! Buy it for its camera totally worth it. If you still not convinced buy it for old times sake as a show of gratitude for that n-series or express music that you once owned!

Symbian is the mother of all OSes (teach other OSes how to make OS).
808 PV is the mother of all camera phones. No other phones like this now. Unique, distinctive, and classic.
Belle FP2, which will come to 808 PV shortly, is one of the best OS on earth ! It's beautiful as it's name, Belle. Check Youtube's videos.
No problem with Belle and no problem with 808 PV. It's a beautiful sweet memory from Symbian. I's not easy to find 808 PV in a store, because it's made in a limited numbers and they are mostly almost sold out.

don't buy this phone its weak in talking about apps./games so go for iphone4s and you will injoy it and its much good than taking a photo and reasonable price! Anlike this over price and nokia is follen down now so go for new and hightect!

I think Nokia has too much of a BIG ego and its ruining their company...
They should have come out with a range of nokia phones with android...and then still come out with a couple windows based phones...but i think windows would not allow it...as they are in competition with google now...so it was a decision made and now its costing them...
