i have both lumia 800 and nokia 700 . the interface of lumia 800 is beautiful and cool . however, it's not as simple and user friendly as nokia 700 which using symbian . thus i trade lumia 800 finally and keep the nokia 700 . please don't give up symbian system which is a good system but just few would know it's good.
hope nokia purview 808 become hit thus draw more people back to symbian.

      Hi Guys,

this is sandeep from blore, i am a regular user of nokia, used n8 till 701 was launched in aug 2011 since then using my 701 a decent phone with good display and 1ghz processor and 512 mb ram, was satisfied with this phone, only reason for android was the games that was available in play store.

I have tried all android phones from the galaxy y to the note...... well the basic phones are very laggy....

what amazed me is the S3 wow, i liked the innovation of the video pop up play and the front cam using the the sensor to recognize the user thats amazing.

but i have a query to android users that in india if use 2g internet packs to browse its very laggy we require either wifi or 3g to use the net smoothly correct me if i am wrong.......

by the way my current phone is NOKIA 808!!!!! amazing sound pics movies.......and good battery back up

I have 2 latest phones Pebble Blue SGS3 & white 808 PureView. I, myself using SGS3 ( that's how I like it) and my GF using 808 ( that's how she like it) we don't argue or intimidating each other's phone. We did and still is pointing out to each other's phone when we found something better or annoying within each phone. No single phone matched or going to matching everyone needs and that's the fact!

My almost unbiased review (well, almost, nobody is totally unbiased)
Pros: - (1) splendid Built. No complain, one tech website wrote that it’s built like a tank, and there is no exaggeration
                      (2) Very very good audio quality,
                      (3) Camera- it’s almost there with point and shoot and sometimes. I am not comparing with DSLR; the comparison with DSLR is absurd. Let’s face it, its best camera phone in the world.
                      (4) I am really impressed that even with mediocre 1 GHz processor, it was able to play full HD movie (there is reason for this IMHO, it has nHD screen and 1 GB RAM so less processing power is required.
                      Cons
Stephen Elop. I think that summarize all the cons. Symbian needed some time and moreover developers support but Elop made its publically open that it cannot compete with other platforms. i am not in nokia but as a management person I can say that the announcement was ill timed and had a strong purpose for windows phone.
Though there are many applications but spend some time and then you start to see that the Nokia store is a very bad implementation of App store. Virtually no launcher except SPB and which is again nowhere near to 100s of launchers in android, and forget the developer support. Even finding sms timer was pain in the a.. so I think goodbye nokia, I would prefer to live with 8mp of andoid or ios.

Ok, after using Nokia 808 PureView for about a week or so...it's came to my head spinning conclusion: what's Nokia trying to sell, the phone or the camera? It's nice feeling fitted into my hand, beautiful piece to look. Symbian Belle is quite unique OS nowadays unlike a preview version, Nokia really toned it up quit nice but Nokia failed to marketing their achievement strategy on this one real bad ( that department should be fire!if you asked me) What does iPhone or android have to offering is their marketing strategy goodness...they knows how to capture the audience interest. When you have it in the crowd with iPhone and Android users then you 'll know that you the only different...not many knew about OS existence and quit annoying when it came to argument you can't beat them, you can't get their head to understand!

[deleted post]I can understand your disappointment. But please, that wasnt me that commented or posted that nonsence. Someone used my username (which i still dont know how) to make people felt i lied to them. I have never owned any phone in my life other than Nokia. ( 5 of them).

Point at me anyone who has purchased 808 and come here to talk bad about the phone. Its an amazing phone.

I love my Nokia 808 PureView.

[deleted post]Who is this imposter that used my username to decieve people? Of what benefit is it to you to paint me black to people? I really dont understand length Android fans would go discourage people from buying this masterpiece - Nokia 808 Pureview.

Please, everyone, I wasnt the one that posted that. All the phones i have owned in my life have been NOKIA since 2005. They are as follows: 3510i, 6630, N97 and now 808 PureView. I dont plan to leave Nokia tomorrow either.

Pls everyone, consider what the imposter did as a sign that Satan is at war at something good and would go any length to paint good bad.

So anytime you see my username again discouraging people from buying 808 PureView or or talking down on Nokia phones, that must be the DEVIL, not me.

                            I love my 808 PureView.

Karma, 21 Jul 2012Yeah rite, nokia would have gone with the dinosaur long ago... morei don't understand why are there people who wants the demise of nokia.

don't they understand that we/us, the end users, are affected if there are only few players in the market.

more players means tight competition, better products/services, lower prices.

why do they hate nokia? just because nokia did not choose their favorite OS?

                                        Grrrr....
