AnonD-2665, 14 Jul 2012how to delete cöntacts from gmail on N8 ? web>gmail(google search)>open the first gmail link>login(if needed)>there is an option at bottom of the page 'basic html' click it>now select contact option from side bar>now u wil c mainly used contact(which is default)>u can select to view 'all contacts'(option tab above the shown contacts)

Nokia 808 is ever best smartphone .... I'm using many smartphone....N808 is awesome phone.....

AnonD-5465, 12 Jul 2012faced some restarts the problem was with an update called m... moregot same problem.a MS app update then phone lags and no good touch feeling on the Screen.did a soft reset then works very well for a month now.no restart or anything bad.great device this is.

People buy Samsung Galaxy S 3 phones just to see what is could possibly be there worth $479 !
People buy Nokia 808 to see what state of the art technology is available with dolby sound , NFC, offline maps, and the gargantuan 41 mp camera which is unparalleled !
Nokia sells by its quality, while Samsung drags along on its cheap marketing gimmicks !!

just buy a digital camera instead, cheaper even! Nokia is hopeless, pls improve your symbian os, no multi-language?

Most of Mobile Phone I was used are Nokia Brand. That is the problem in Nokia OS not to use a Video Calls on Skype and YM compared to Android OS. We can download the Skype Installer to their Ovi Store but you can only use Voice Calls and not to use Video Calls. I've already tried to search the compatible Skype Installer to internet thru my laptop but it's all for Android OS only and I-phone Mobile. Hoping that the Nokia will take care of their customers and user by improving more their OS.

Anonymous, 12 Jul 2012Dont forget to format your memory card with exFat to avoid ... more4GB limit is still there on my exFat formatted 32GB microSDHC Samsung card when recording video. It stopps after ca. 40min.

p.s. the n8 is very laggy compared to the 808! ;)
just turn the theme effects on the n8 on and you will see the diffrence! ;)

I just can say: you will love it - especially if you want a stunning camera device!!
Of course you have many other functions/features like the Nokia Turn-by-turn-Navigation (with offline funtionallity) which is also an awesome advantage and that all is for free! The Belle FP OS is running really fluid and speedy...
Go for the 808! ;)

I am really confused whether to go for Nokia Pureview 808 or Sony Xperia S ... please help as I am big fan of Sony but 41mp camera really attracts me as I like photography

skydrive is integrated into notification bar of nokia belle devices. It shows that it is possible for belle devices to integrate applications with notification bar. I hope further updates will able the applications integration.

its be... moreAn occasional reeboot (but rare) or an occasional need to pull up the battery are typical of Nokia Symbian devices. Maybe it's their adjusting mechanism. It is not a problem whatsoever.
You're so lucky can afford one of the best smartphone in 2012. If you like it so much then don't give up on it. Enjoy the sensation of PV808..!

Nokia released a seemingly hard to beat phone in terms of imaging and video capturing. I'm thinking of 2160p on nokia phones handsets. Or on any android handset. Hehehehe...

Dear all nokia 808 pureview user:) I want to ask if this phone could do videocall or voice call from skype or ym? I've been looking phones that has hdmi port, and nokia 808 may have the best specification right now, but I still need answer:)
