The Nokia 808 Pureview is now available in Abuja, Nigeria. I saw it with my very two eyes. The price is N130,000 ($800 USD). I will get one before the end of the week.
I actually went for window shopping last Saturday evening. But i wasnt sure it would be available. But I was surprise to see it on sale, a black colour. I called them to ask them to bargain the price with them on Monday morning, only to be told that they have all been sold. But they would get more this week. I wont wait a minute to pass again once they notify me that the phone is now available in their shop again.
Android fans are here condemning the 808 pureview, yet the phone is selling like fire, even with the high cost/price. Continue to kill yourself with envy & jelousy, why the phone continues to sale in millions. The 808 pureview is going sale into millions just only this year, from the way people are scrambling over to purchase it.
I cant wait to get mine before the end of the week, here in Abuja, Nigeria. Android fans can go & hit their heads hard on the walls, if that will make them feel better. Who cares!

After the spects of the 808, this baby here is twice better than n8. With the os i don't know what to say... i love symbian, i've used it since:-?? ever. The systems are quite different, but symbian belle is more user friendly then any other symbian. Anyway. if you want just internet and apps and that's it, then it is not the best in this area. But if you want a smartphone with full multimedia capabilities, good battery, covarage, good quality and a very good camera. Then this one is for you.

I just got my own Nokia 808 pure view today...yet to start using because i dont have a micro sim yet....the phone is pretty heavy compared to the Nokia N8 which I also have...

41MP is so far the highest on a gsm device.. tumbs up Nokia, but dont forget that not all gsm usera are tunned to all touch screen and qwerty keys, alpha-numeric keyboard users are still out there.. some users has eye defects, while others have big fingers of which qwerty keys and all touch screen will be very fraustrating for them.. try making 2 or 3 versions of a particular device i.e Nokia E5 qwerty keys, Nokia E5 alpha-numeric keys etc..

after using 800 i purchased 808 phone is good look/battery power is good useing the phone is difficult for net use or to downlode u have to register your id to windos live then it will work good like lumi800

resulation is so bad as 640*360. it needs 1280* 720 must and also ppi should be 350 density. and more apps and mozila like browser . i want to see the nokia in the top in the world . as i am a permanent user of nokia .

Why such high end smartphone have low resolution and low ppi?.......Because we are in the world of 720p and 1080p resolution and higher ppi display ...more than 300ppi.....I appreciate the camera quality and video recording capability of this smartphone.But what about other features.This is nokias first phone which is capable of recording 1080p with 30fps.This is purely a camera centric phone.
