I Think the specs are pathetic considering the hype around this phone
Screen is pathetic by all means,my 38mpix snaps will look quite bad considering puny 180 ppi... And god why symbian WHY??? Such an embarassment. Also it is bulky,heavy,unintuitive and weakened by single core 1.3ghz processor. and there is nothing good about it except the camera. Case closed,such a disappointment from such hype

N8 owner, 18 Jun 2012I have N8 and a love it except when I recording video there... more808 doesnt have the red light in the Xenon flash. Only a white LED light. THis is used to help focusing on low light just like the red lights purpose. as for the recoding part it wont light up the LED so there will be no indication that your recording unless you enable the "night light/flashlight LED" for recording in the dark. theres a toggle switch on the upper left screen when recording to enable the light.

As u said u have used Samsung S2 and curren... moreAs i said before , am a kind of guy who is into photography more than into tons of apps and games
although checking mails is a breeze on the 808 with push emails also the facebook and twitter experience are great too., skype whatsapp fring thats all i use in a mobile phone
if u r into games and installing hundreds of app every day then go to S3 or S2 but dont expect much from their tiny sensors and tiny cameras
the 808 pureview camera is awesome already replaced my Soony H20 and most of point and shoot digital cameras on the market, the video recording is amazing with lossless zoom and rich audio recording
so if u browse a little check fbook and twitter updates frequently and a camera geek get the 808
if u r more into internet games and appliactions and that stuff go for the s2
buttom line there is no perfect device just choose what suits ur needs atmost
go for flickr and check so wonderful shots by the 808 to judge the camera urself
