AnonD-5465, 15 Jun 2012just discovered that the 808 plays all video files even the... moreu can mark multiple pics in gallary. For this open the gallary then click on option button and it will show mark option, from where u can mark several pics...

just discovered that the 808 plays all video files even the Rmvb without encoding !! found one drawback ... I can't mark several pics in gallery as was in old symbians.
I will keep u updated with all good and bad .,, stay tuned

I m using nokia 701 with nokia belle fp1. 701 has same os and hardware like 808 except camera. i m happy with symbian belle fp1 on 701 and i m sure that 808 can perform much better than 701 because 808 have an additional chip to process images and more larger screen...

Good news for all Symbian lovers.
Nokia board has today made the RIGHT decision to continue full support...... S30 and S40 series for their smartphone along with few budget Window phone models in the coming days.

Android is not the God. It is a OS like ios, window, symbian, meamo etc.
Never underestimate the heros for some bad period when they are not performing good..
I think u should appreciate nokia to invent pureview technology.
Android is used by number of companies but pureview is only specific to nokia. No other brand have this type of unique technology. Thanx nokia for this new invention.
Always remember, father is always father and nokia is the father of mobile technology....

Yet one another plume in the cap of Nokia, but is ... morewhen I first saw the android phone add on tv couple of years back.I thought that the phone has some kind artificial intelligence in its os.so I bought a samsung galaxy pop my first android[ which was also my last ] there was nothing special about its os. it was a very complicated phone. comparing with my older phone nokia5233 samsung is simply very complicated. and my friend owns a samsung galaxy y when I first saw it it shocked me because it had the biggest pixels I have ever seen in a touch phone.moreover the battery drains very fast in the android I don't like to carry a charger or fit a solar panel on my head to keep this stupid phone charged.I own a nokia5800;5233 and n8.all of them are far more better then this stupid samsung galaxy pop.I am trying to sale this crap.and buy a nokia808 pure view which is my dream phone.I am also waiting for nokia lumia1000.which I think it will smash all its rivals.especially samsung.
