Anonymous, 26 May 2012Nokia's become the out of touch old man of the phone world,... moreSorry man, everyone knows that Nokia E series equals Mercedes E series, just compare them and people who buy them :-) As for the rest, I know, let me think, 3 Symbian users and one ex-user who is now on Android. His choice, he needs some stuff he can't get on Symbian and I'm glad for him. The other three bought their phones because they had money and simply wanted a "good phone" that's not something cheap and flimsy nor something touchy that's online 24/7 as they really have other stuff to do and, well, computers for free time and work. If they can't buy a Symbian again they'll probably go back to feature phones. As for me, I did a research before buying and Symbian has all I need and doesn't have some things I'd hate on a phone. The real problem is people buying what they don't need.

Nokia have to sign with android.....android phone with lesser capacity then nokia phones are work better then it......ovi store is worthless aginst playshop....

AnonD-5465, 26 May 2012Haters go away ! we love 808 and gonna get it whats ur pro... moreThe problem is it is essentially a good phone but as they say "1 rotten apple can spoil the batch" and that's what Symbian is, it's the 1 thing that turns a good phone with possible widespread appeal into what every year is increasingly becoming an outdated joke, and the harder they try with Symbian the worse it makes Nokia look, and bigger companies than Nokia have gone bust lately and i don't want to see that happen.

I have been using Nokia Since I started using mobile phones.
I will always backup Nokia when it comes to User friendliness and battery backup.
I'm using Nokia 5320XM. the only issue i have till date is that i use it roughly so the panels got damaged.
The total usage is nearing 1600 hours of calls and i almost use 10 hours for hearing music.

Nokia tell our date right now ............ they have never made a phone that can Record VIDEOS in Full HD !! :0
and the maximum screen resolution on there phones are ....... 480 x 800 pixels !!
i think Nokia sucks am sorry nokia fans i have been a nokia user for 3 years and i regret it !!

Dula, 26 May 2012i have nokia e6, even the display is much smaller than pure... moreUse the "power saving" mode to almost double battery life by pressing power button and then activate power saving.
Also get the white version of this because black draws heat and that makes a huuuuuuuge difference in bright sunlight. Here in South Africa we have violent sun and if I expose my black aluminium N8 to it it really drains the battery but luckily the 808 is Polycarbonate with a protective coating and polycarbonate is insulating so it should be much better.

What good dos android OS have, useless ba3 back up, ba3 drains quickly due to unnecessary processors and who said nokia belle isn't d best i guess u're jst mistaking, i avn't actually seen any OS datz user friendly as Belle OS though with standard processors it can still handle dos heavy tasks! Can't jst go on coz pple will get bored... Symbian will alwayz av fans in Africa don't knw of anyoda region! Up Nokia

Anonymous, 24 May 2012you have document editor... the battery is strong enough an... morei have nokia e6, even the display is much smaller than pureview, the battery is 1500 mAh compared to 1400 mAh in pureview, but still it drains down to zero during the day if i leave gprs on, talk 2 hours take 20 photos, browse 2 hours, use gps 30 min. All i want to say is that it would be perfect phone, if the battery would last at least 2 days with similar usage as abovementioned.

Anonymous, 25 May 2012Any news on shutter speed on this? i mean S3 has almost zer... moreThe S3 doesn't actually have a physical shutter meaning it can have almost zero "shutter" lag but it does seriously compromise image quality by causing smaller pixels that collect less light, exposure times are also quite limited. As far as I know the 808's shutter speed is unknown but I know it will be very fast.
The camera on the S3 is really incomparable with the 808 or even the N8 because there are so many short cuts taken to make it smaller and then they use software to make it look better which only further let's the image quality down.
