I like it cause is secure, verry secure. As for the 1020, i have a question, just to be sure if i take it back or not. Battery, bleah:))). Help, one day for me is heaven so, can you confirm if yours is the same? The only time is not draining like crazy is when i'm not using it. Using it is like this:20% drain per hour when surfing or just zapping through menu and store. More then 30% when playing some useless caregames or something (while my n8 was eating 20%). Camera, meah, drains battery like there is no tomorow. 2% per minute. So, does anyone have the same? Ex. When i started writing here i had 99% now i have 94% in just 5 or 6 minutes. I hate i could not buy 808 but then againg, i would have hated even more if i had so many services stopped. Uh, hate you Microsoft right now. Ps. I already dropped mine, on the councrete:(. Now i have a 500 euros 3 mounths old phone, with scratches and a crappy battery backup.

      Congrats bro for your new Nokia Lumia 1020, I'm very happy you got one like me and Carol ;)

      About the flash, I think yes, I tried it myself and every time I find that 808 PV was better, it got some fixes after the black update but still has this silly yellow tint when shooting in ambient or white light and I really don't know why

      any way, it's better than any LED, period

They are not being true to their promise! Uploading photos in nokia social is crap, i like it better when it's uploaded via nokia 808! It's an app that they removed and they even deleted the photos that's already been uploaded. F! I uploaded more than a thousand of photos!! Lot's of shared moments with family and friends and suddenly they're al gone!!! That's a big crap of nokia and they're loosing customers! They are definitely going down¡ Windows phones are no good, limited features and less apps! I'm moving to sony and samsung!! There's no way for nokia phone sham!! I've learned my lesson and finally realized that nokia has no place on future mobile phones!

            i bought this phone almost 2 years ago and i'm still keeping because of its camera. It certainly lags in terms of apps and features compared to android but overall it performs well. Lately i can no longer upload photos directly from the gallery! What's worst is i lost all the photos i've uploaded from the gallery!! The album 808 is no longer available, it can't be viewed anymore! WTF! Nokia discontinued its vital feature and it erase all the photos i've uploaded on my social account!! It extremely disappointed me after all this investment. Crap, i will never ever buy nokia phones anymore! They are going on a wrong direction and leave their customers in vain!! What's good about their phone is its durability and camera and no more!!! This will be my last phone from nokia! They are terrible!!!

              I'm Happy by your last Post and I'm more happy that you finally starts to love Lumia and WP after the 8.1 update, it was one of the must awaited updates I've ever desired, about the battery, I bought the Nokia Dc-19 battery bank, helped me a lot specially when shooting tons of photos and videos

              I wish we can have our group on Whatsapp all together, Skype and OoVoo so we can have a great time together

              keep Posting and nice to see you again buddy ;)

                Hi Ziad, Carol and all my friends... I got lumia 1020 Singapore variant. Device is good as carol said.. Camera is superb.. But i am sure it is not the one u find in 808.. u should wait for two to three seconds after each shot, which u wont do with ypur 808.. Ziad & Carol, is lumia 1020 xenon is less powerful than 808..

                                Hey guys, long time no post. But, as i switched to Lumia i had less interest in Symbian, still i tried to watch what happens further. As we can all see, after being stab't, Symbian is slowly fading away, by force. A lot of stopped services and they will not stop here unfortunately, they will kill the last breath of it, the store, by the end of this year. So, with this said, i think it is safe to say, there is no more symbian in this life anymore. Owning a Lumia after N8 was a bit of a pain, but surprisingly did not last to much. wp8.1 kind of fills most important gaps between it and Symbian. There are still, but not crazy important. As i entered in this 'new world' as they say, i entered in terrible battery era. Even though it is windows phone using a 1020 for photographs and internet is limited to maximum one day, if not even less, like 12 hours. MAybe the new devices are better, like lumia 1520, but i won't buy this kind of huge devices. 930 is announced to be even worst then 1020. So, this is the new smartphone era. As for androids, well, is the same, so in this times, nobody can be happy with the battery or praise theirs, cause they...just lie. Yes my phone can last for days if i use it 10 min per day, but this is not the purpose of a smartphone, isn't it? Do, i recommend you to go for lumia? Hmm, yes and no, the quality of this devices has Nokia written all over, and with the new 8.1 is almost, almost perfect. But, who wants customization and loads of options, hmm, well, wp may not be the best in this area, oh well, not at all. There is no other but android for that. But don't forget though, wp is still growing and developing introducing new futures. As for android, if you decide to go for one, hit some htc m8, at least has some premium material into it, and has the same price as all galaxy cheap plastic devices. If not, there is lumia and ios. Hmm, i'd say lumia all the way. This i also posted on N8 forum, but all my friends are here. So guys, is it time to switch? Would i recommend you the 1020? Hmm, maybe not quite, but if this device has an upcoming brother, definetly go for that, you won'T regret it. Even though, you won't regret having 1020 if you are not that disturbed about it's battery life which can easily be categorized in android family. More then one day will happen if you are using it like a normal phone...

                                    guys, i just recieve a message from Skype. too bad they discontinued their support for Symbian. microsoft want us to change to Lumia phone. weLL, sorry for them. Lumia is not my choice. if they can make another phone as great, beautiful and as functionaL as N8 or other symbian phones, i'LL be back to nokia. but for now, its just a big NO.

                                      Im hvng a nokia 808 pureview, bt my 808s view is nt tht clear. I cannt even bluetooth anytng frm sme1 thn it tells me ( msdc not inserted ) even whn I wnt to play game its the same. No clear pictures, sound gne but never fell before. Eish im suffrng, any1 advise me on ths please
