What do people think when they claim the price should be lower. Nokia has spent the lst5 years to make the tecnologies in this phone to work. This has many features other phones don´t have. Pure view(makes a 41mp camera with it´s own CPU and unique tecnology. If you are in a consert the camera records it with out the usual cracked sound. They have even managed to optimice 1.3 ghz processor handle 1080p video. So I think the price is justified for the hard work they have done.

I do not understand all the hate for Symbian. Really. One would think Nokia pee'd in someone's cereal. It really is a great OS now that it is updated to Belle. It wasn't bad before if you took the time to learn how to use it. I don't get the deal that a smartphone has to so easy to use a caveman can use it.
Seriously. I use the N8 everyday and absolutely love it. My girlfriend has the HTC Inspire which isn't a bad phone. Android isn't bad either. But it does not do the things I need it for. Basically I want a power phone. Which is what Symbian does well. Easy to transfer files, easy to use Bluetooth, easy to take anywhere in the world. No contract needed. That's why US service providers don't like it. You don't need a data plan with this phone. So they can't nickle and dime Symbian customers with data plans and trapped contracts.
The camera is outstanding. Pictures and video, beautiful. Dedicated shutter button, awesome. Very quick to take a photo, if you know how to use it. As fast as my dslr. Not everyone wants the latest greatest apps to clutter their phone. These phones are built to last a long time.
As a satisfied N8 user, the 808 Pureview is the only choice for my next phone. I barely consider it an upgrade, because the N8 just works. The battery last way more than a day. Small screen resolution? Who cares. The difference is negligible. Connect it to a HDTV and the picture is super. But haters will hate and I really feel sorry for Nokia because they stand out from other phone manufacture's in a good way.
We need different OS's to choose from. The same "Androidness" and "Iphoneness" will make the world a boring place. Wp7? Can't do what I need a smartphone for. But choice is good. And I'm glad for Nokia to give me a choice. And I choose Symbian, which is supported at least until 2016. Which I still plan to have and use both the N8 and 808. Their made that way. Nokia, the rock solid phone manufacturer.
