your gonna loose possible converts on the way you reply to other people's post.

instead of offering an INTELLIGENT discussion, you just troll around.

no wonder why most nokia fanboys are kids, or...erm... think like kids.

am here on a peaceful walk at the park, stopped by on a discussion continued walking. then suddenly a danthale shouted! don't discourage buyers.

was not here to bash 'coz there isn't any reason to do so... i even sided w/ nokia fanboys on this article:

      http://www.gsmarena.com/is_this_nokia_lumia_pureview_we_hope_not-news-4065.php

maybe it would be best to sharpen your comprehension, anyone who says things other than what you want to hear is discouraging customers for you.

      go back to school.

What if it had a smaller stomach, designed in another more compact way, it i'd have eaten less, saved food and produced same amount of milk if not more, for longer!

AnonD-44031, 09 Apr 2012Since when did it become a powerhouse? Since the Nokia 7650... more"operating system (OS) itself is more powerful than Android. Android requires more powerful hardware and more battery power to do the same tasks that Symbian can do but with less-powerful hardware and with little battery consumption. "

                  from yours.

That's my point.you said "Android requires more powerful hardware and more battery power ".
Basically i would have agreed if he said more efficient.
Symbian is great, but it's a dawn of the new age. it's just now a member of the pack, not the leader of it.

if you would notice, the humored next pureview is a LUMIA. So 808 seems to be just a testing ground of the technology.

I would praise Nokia if they would just concentrate on the symbian OS. i used to one and this android fanboy say symbian rocks.

The advantage that android has over symbian or any other OS is customization, you can customize it to your liking. and android leads the pack for technological advancement right now NOT because it requires hardware or more power and higher specs, it's because of the manufacturers harnessing the OS' true potential thus they innovate applications and new hardwares, had it's not symbian who forced the industry to move on to dual, quadcores, it was Android. and people say it's because android cannot run on minimal hardware specs? says who? you can run it, but it's capabilities would be limited. is that bad? yes and no. yes because you can't use it's full potential, and no...it's normal because hardware specs limits what droids can do but that does not mean, it's less efficient.

Verbal_Criminal, 09 Apr 2012 and since when did symbian became a powerhouse? lemme... moreSince when did it become a powerhouse? Since the Nokia 7650. The first smartphone with multitasking.

There is no "compare" button for Symbian and Android. Only the phones can be compared, not the Operating Systems. Please open Wikipedia and do your research, or open some websites about what technically Symbian and Android are.

Actually, Symbian IS a powerhouse. the operating system (OS) itself is more powerful than Android. Android requires more powerful hardware and more battery power to do the same tasks that Symbian can do but with less-powerful hardware and with little battery consumption. Want proof? Look at ICS and Belle (Symbian and Android's latest OS). ICS uses battery power like there's no tomorrow (literally), because just look at complaints from users of ICS. Do you see the same complaints from Belle?

How about App compatibility? Android is already facing fragmentation problems. Search GSMArena for that article. Do you see such problems with Belle? No.

How about folders to organize all those app icons in the main menu?

And who said that Android is truly effective with multiple cores? ONLY the OS needs the multiple cores. Almost all apps were written without optimizations for multiple cores.

lemme tell you this. symbian was great. however we can't clasify it as a powerhouse. i might have agreed if you said that 808 is more efficient even w/ just a dualcore(singlecore) chipset. but a power house?

do you know the link at the top that says compare? click that from 808 and get another droid so you would see the difference...maybe open up another websites for technical terms. if your not a tech guy...you can just open up wikipedia.org that's the site kids use to do research.

Thousand thousands of wi-fi only tablets available this days.
It would be very helpful if nokia could added wi-fi hotspot and tethering facilities(no 3rd party appl) to all their low-end smart phones for students...... like galaxy y.
so, those tablets could easily connected to internet without area restrictions using mobile phone 2g/3g data.
