nokia please stop making phones with symbian os. android is far better than th outdated symbian. samsung is now making awesome phones in low price.

Guys, just answer my one simple question: If Symbian, this phone and its screen are so rubbish, THEN:
Why are many of you commenting negatively, like you're scared of this phone's oncoming dominance...?
Look at me, I own a Nokia N8 but you'll never see me spamming Android/ iOS Phones' pages...
Why? Because I know my phone has the best Cam+Music Combo, and an OS with the safest App store, plus I purchased it at a very fair price... And the rest is for all to see.
And yes, I will buy this 808 Pureview phone someday, no matter what fanboys say... :D

It only looks (and sounds) good, but when you actually use it... It is more restrictive than iOS. And it is poorly optimized for battery use, unlike Symbian. :)
IMO:
Symbian > Android(2.3) > Android(4.0+) > Blackberry > iOS > Windows Phone

I'll bet that in PureView mode, NOTHING can touch the 3MP, 5MP and 8MP photos with 1.4 micron pixels @ 38MP and 4.01 micron pixels @ 5MP supersampling/oversampling technology compared to 3MP, 5MP and 8MP photos taken from 1/1.83 and smaller sensors.
And that's not even accounting for the myriads of I/O options only Nokia Symbian can provide!

You are comparing every quality as child! People also have digital photo camera much better than this! 360:640 pixel really funny, you can see every single pixels when using the phone! And os, you can not play normal graphical games! Today android games become same as pc game by the time! And it is better gaming exprience than pc! Because of you can play in the everywhere and in great guality screen which have 330 dpi! Ana much better internet exprience, not freeze while zooming in and surfing internet because of 4times better CPU and GPU!
So better design! Great OS, you want use win97 against of win7? So much better sound quality with beats auido! Only you can say that this phone have better camera , but really camera just nothing on phone! HTC also have great camera, and more great futures than this! Which can take photo while taking video and only for 0.7 second!!! Overall this is device is only toy when comparing any android device! Please play with your toys and you can not say anything about any android device!

The 808 is supposed to be an upgrade to the Nokia N8. Comparing this against a Windows Phone Mango would be unfair. Symbian is too powerful for Mango.
The 808 should be Nokia's flagship, if not for the Microsoft partnership.
Honestly, putting a phone with a feature set like that as a flagship? It'll be more like a deathwish, honestly. Windows Phone sounds very good - until you actually use it. Then you'll want your old Symbian back.

BTW did you buy the HTC OneX which claims to have "Authentic Camera, Authentic Sound"
LOL because 808 has a 100x better camera and a much better 5.1 Dolby surround sound
And why don't you just play with your tegra3 instead of trolling here? Oh wait your phone must be charging right now. No?
