Hi Guys,
I am facing an issue with my 808 PV, like I am not getting any messages and when I restart the phone then the messages are coming in. Please tell me what has to be done to resolve the same.

So u will have a camera legend (808) with Samsung's all time best note series ( Note 3 ). Enjoy using it :-)

Actually I use galaxy note 2.
but not satisfied with low light photography.
so I searching a smartphone with xenon flash in mid range..Please suggest me one pls.

largo, 09 May 2014if I were you I would buy 808 just for the camera.the cmos ... morejust to correct you thier is a very strong support for symbian at the moment but not by nokia..but by fans,who brought it the OS to life..and even brought the store back as well..!

all what can i say its great..and it does have good battery life under heavey usage..i dont use it to make phone calls..i use it for taken pictures and log on my whatsup...i hope that was helpfull info..

Hi Guys,
I need some information. I have been considering to pick up a Nokia 808. I have been using Nokia devices since 6020, E61i, and most of the eseries devices. I also own a android phablet and a WM7.8 I hate android because its crappy even after rooting my android device its a PiDA (Pain in the Ass) loosing applications.
And the only reason for considering the 808PV is because its the last of the Nokia's devices its more like a sentiment and hell yes for the camera and cmos sensor. I just wanted to know what the battery backup like if your using it as a normal phone and forgetting the fact it has a monster camera. 1400mAh how long does it last for medium to heavy users?
And finally with lot of camera usage how badly does the battery drain out as well?
I would really appreciate it if somebody can update me on the battery status of the 808PV. CHeers!

I use this phone to record band rehearsals (loud heavy metal). It has stereo recording capability that can record up to 140dBs without clipping. Unfortunately to my knowledge, it is the only phone in the market that can do this. I really don't use the camera and otherwise the phone isn't that great.

I suggest you to go for an Android phone! If you are fully aware of Windows, go for 1020. Don't go for 808. You had this review from my 808 !

I've got 808 and android phone which is already enough since im not a fan of windows phone. If you have budget go for the expensive phone!

abc, 08 May 2014which is a better decision. ... to buy 808 or 1020. 808 i... moreif I were you I would buy 808 just for the camera.the cmos censor is wider and there are great apps for Symbian, but unfortunately it is no longer supported.808 has FM transmitter and HDMI, which you will not find on 1020.If you care for fuctionality go for 808. 1020 is just a new model that's all.stick with nokia if you are not an android fan,but windows is not ready yet to be compared with google's android

Right now i tried to jump on wp and bought a defective lumia 1020. So i still use my n8. It is returned and i wait for a new one. Until i can crack the System, down and tell you about it's capabilities will take a Long Long time. Probably, then wp will no longer exist:)).

Friends,,, Ziad and Siva.... Thanks for your reply! I kown both of you are die hard fans of Nokia like me! I had read numerous reviews of you in N8 and 808 pages.... Great keep it up! I started using only Nokia mobiles since 2004. Never used any other company so far. After the microsoft deal, I'm very angry on Nokia. So I sold away all my collection recently except 808 ! I know Lumia 1520 is a good choice over Note 3. But Windows has so many limitations! The only os that comes close to my favourite Symbian is Android! So I'll take a decision soon! I hope... you had guessed my mobile! Thank you!
