nikon, 08 Mar 2012no matter ,what goes nokia always come up with new feature ... moreof course tecnology moves forward but this is available really soon and I will have one as soon It will be available..you can always wait for better things but think you have to wait long time,this is right now...

If you are using WiFi, try doing a speed test with the phone and a PC just to compare?
I think it is safe to say that the 808 will definitely be faster than both phones.
Just my opinion, but I don't think Nokia announced everything about the 808. There might be more to this unit than what was announced. Nokia likes to hide technologies in their phones. A very good strategy. They release with very good specs, then when others release models that will compete with these, they will release a firmware update to remove some of their phone's limits, or even activate hidden features. :)

Posting criticisms for me is okay, because really, that is what discussion forums are for. You post your opinions, praises or criticisms. But just don't bash. I am sure even Nokia is reading the posts here. Where better to get feedback from their products than from discussion forums?
So, you are getting the white one? Nice! Be sure to always eep it clean though. We don't know how susceptible this is to stains. :)
Just earlier, me and a friend of mine were discussing colors. She originally wanted the blue color of the Nokia N8, and it's coloring scheme. But since we only have 3 colors, she is getting the black one instead, because it matches the front color. Same here with me.
Then I trolled her afterwards... I told her, "Yeah, what if we get this model the moment it is available, then after a month or so, they will release more colors, with the front and back having the same colors?"
Though I wish they will have more colors on the release date, and have the front and back have the same colors. I definitely won't be getting white though. Dirt and smoke stains will really show! :)

i have seen some sample of its camera.
It takes 12mb for single photo.
N8 quality is better than it.
Simply its useless.

android is a bag of apps with a lot of bugs, a year ago an android phone just couldnt even try to use the BT, yes iknow its a really advanced feature on a mobile phone but... ok :P
nokia belle is a really stable and polished os
and this phone is awesome

Why don't u people talk politly as grown ups ... happy with insults and mocking ... We r just talking .. not in a battle ! I like 808 but hate symbian ... i like the sgs2 but i hate its camera ! So take it easy ... am just wondering about the 1.3ghz as my last experiance with c7 and n8 wasnt nice ... i couldnt browse easily and uploads takes a hell of a time... just wishing 808 is a tad faster beside its great camera ... thx for ur words

Nokia put a big effort to come up with a high megapixel camera in a mobile device and thats a good thing. That only means that competition on mobile devices would keep getting better. Kudos to Nokia to come up with this device hope this one would click specially for me because i`m looking for a phone that has a good camera on it.

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2012Thats true,I have an SGS2 and It restart at least 3 times a... morei understand what are you going through... as a tech support with our company, a lot of customers calling in because of the same problem. what are our advice is to take the battery out and leave it for 2 - 3 mins and then later you will wish that it will not happen again...
the only thing to fix that is to update data profile. i assure you it will be fixed.. but there's still a possibility that it will return to the same problem again.
phones are created not to be perfect but do not look on its imperfections. i assure you you will nto stay at the same phone for 2 years as long as it has a contract, right? sprint, at&t, t-mobile, verizon offers 2 years agreement and also upgrade on or before 20 months. but our android phone user customers complaining that they don't want the phone anymore after 4 or 5 months of activations. hard to believe, but they want new phone immediately, not the same one or they will break up the contract. some of them have factory defects. that's why phones are tested by quality assurance before it will leave the factory.
business as usual. some people like android but others not. it is not the problem about the hardware, software or capabilities. it is a phone. a phone that helps you to communicate with anyone. right or right???
