hmm... come to think of it my c6-01 survived at least 20 (at least 1 meter high) falls with no effects onthe hardware or software. i wouldn't try that with other phone brands (don't put active/defy/explorer here since ruggedness is their selling point).

many are asking why one need 41mp camera.well
1.there are people who want to replace there n8 with a better camera phone this is the answer for them.
2.there are cameraphiles for them they can replace there dslr with this.
3.there are people who care about gimmicks like this.
i dont know why people are running after quadcore or dualcore it is pretty much useless.unless one need to play games.but if playing game is important get a psp/ps vita at a 1/4th or 1/6th price of quadcores.

i have to admit it this is one heck of a phone/camera. i thought when they said 41 megapixels it will just be like nokia n8 or e7 with crappy quality (got to admit those cameras suck for carl zeiss)coz megapixels arent everything. but when i went through youtube to check some reviews...man i was mind blown. the zooming, the quality, the details, the depth, the bokeh, the colours, the speed etc. man it was mesmerizing. its like a portable DSLR. im an android and sony ericsson user. in that moment when i checked pureviews videos on youtube i wished this technology would come for sony somewhere soon. nokia has redefined innovation to a whole new level. i took my time time to type this message just to show how i appreciate nokia's innovation and technology...although nokia doesnt have the power to compete with android or IOS which is a downer (i always hated nokia and it's OS) but the camera says it all. respect nokia. this is coming from a sony user and im honest about these opinions.
for nokia haters and android users go check the videos on youtube. you'll have to admit some day or the other that nokia won the game in camera.

Heihachi, come on.. you hate him just because he has the Devil Gene? And you are supposed to be his grandfather! You should be supporting him!
On-topic: If a phone or anything is underpowered in one or more aspects and you rant about it, it's okay, but keep it healthy. Nothing is perfect, criticisms are alright and in fact should be welcomed.
But if a phone or anything is overpowered in one or more aspects but doesn't have any negative effects and you rant about it, well that would be ironic. Come on people, it's not like there is no other choice. You don't like 34/36MP photos? Fine, use the lower settings. It just doesn't feel right to complain about something too much that doesn't hurt you.
When I saw the 41MP spec, I first thought it was a typo, but when I realized it was really 41MP and seeing that it is the N8's successor (which I am looking forward to get instead of the N8), all I thought was: "Come at me bro!"
