we are just trying to enlighten you nokia fools..we just feel sorry for you..its not too late..
you see its so clear..you will have to throw your phone away to get this crappy 808 phone..
why don't you invest in a good android that will be there for a long time and you can be assured of software upgrades..
and you may ask why am I dwelling so much on the firmware..well that's what separates a feature phone from a smartphone...

simplicity???? have you ever tried installing one of the 400,000+ applications on the android market?what could be easier than that..
am an expert in using android and there is no day that symbian will ever beat android..whether its in ease of usage, customization, flexibility and versatility,no of applications, multimedia support,speed...
you are asking me to show you how to make a 100$ smartphone to a superphone...why don't you get one and I will show you..I know why its hard to believe..for nokia users you had to throw away your phone when nokia released a new update..for droid users even those who bought their phones with cup cake v1.5 or eclair v1.6 they can still run ics v4.0..how many of you have their n90s that can run these new symbian o.s?none..

ohmy, more fandroids bashing at symbian? really, symbian is no match for your 'awesome' sophisticated OS, we totally get that. symbian is here to provide ease of usage as opposed to android. what android can't provide, in this case, it's simplicity, symbian makes up for it. end of story.

big big big big fan of nokia btw....especially symbian. LONG LIVE SYMBIAN......despite what elop had said.

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2012Tell me, O Wise One, that you, by upgrading your ANDROID or... moreActually, I was thinking that the only way to turn a $100 phone into a "super phone" was to install Symbian Anna into it, and that is ignoring the extra features. But since I asked him to show how a DROID could do it, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that feat can me accomplished. Android is nice. It is good. But not as good as the time-tested-and-proven Symbian OS.. :)

It seems Mr/Ms. Android Sour Grapes quit already... After the 4th time I asked him to prove it. Meh~

[deleted post]Finally got rid of the Android-SourGrapes fanboy.
Guess he couldn't handle me. :)

Maybe he forgot about the FM Transmitter, TV-out, HDMI, battery-saving, secure and light OS, folders (to organize that nasty, cluttered app menu), and compatibility to ye olde apps that some (me, included) prefer to keep after all these years.

And he admitted defeat when I asked him to prove his point. Pffft...

[deleted post]And here is my proof that you are just sprouting nonsense. After 3 times of telling you to prove it. Still you won't do so. Alright. Suit yourself. Unless you say it here. There is no way you can do that.

As for the camera, that's your choice. You don't care about a phone's camera, fine. Don't bash other people people because they like the camera. They didn't actually say that they will buy this phone ONLY for the camera. And don't bash the phone.

5 years in development is a long time. 41MP really is an impressive feat, even if you don't care about it. Come on, don't tell me you were not amazed, or shocked by this achievement.

Also, please don't condemn the phone even before it has the chance to prove itself. No comprehensive reviews yet. Give it a chance. At least until it has already been properly reviewed, or if performance benchmarks are available already

Even I am waiting for them.

I've read a lot of people liking this also for its other features. So, camera is one selling point. But it also has other cool features.
