its more powerfull than your android,
1.3gig cpu dedicated gpu, and it has three dedicated processors...

The imaging procesor proceses the image only . doesnt mean its got 3 core power. You will be able to play 1080p videos as the phone is able to take those but other than pictures and videos that phone will not be recomendable
Also wich android phone are you refering to? The 4+1 cores of the tegra coupled with a 12 core gpu ? I used this for comparison since its only fair as they launched at the same time.

ive done alot of research on this....
it dose overlaping mate so you dont loose any detail and combines all those little pixels into one smooth and sharp image......

for all you fanboys that dont think this phone can run 1080p....
it has a dedicated gpu as well as the high cpu, so it will run 1080p video very smoothly, and take photos very quick and zoom very quick too....
it is much powerfull than android cause it does three seperate processors for the imaging and the video,
what you fanboys are saying that this phone is not going to handle that is alot of CRAP....
SO DONT POST WHAT YOU DONT KNOW.... THIS IS ONE POWERFULL SMARTPHONE.....

I want to buy nokia 808 .why some peopl... moreso your gonna buy a phone because its nokia and has a huge sensor that you will probably never use even though ... Theres barely any support for symbian , the battery is low low low , the screen res is below average there are limited multimedia features and has an big bulky design.

You people are actually dumb . You trully have no ideea why nokia made this device.
They had to release a succesor to the N8 to enourage people that simbian is not dead yet and will be supported for a while longer .
The technology in the camera is so advanced its never been heard of or done before but they couldnt put it in a windows phone device as the there are to many limitations 16 mpx sensor would be one. So they have to intensively modify the bell on the 808 to handle the sensor.
you think the sensor is big but its actually 5 times smaller than a dslr sensor even though it has a higher pixel count.
Also a sensor this large would attract allot of investors and it prooves that nokia still has room for inovations these days.
The only feature of the phone is the camera , everything else is low - to lowest .Its a showoff device nothing more.
Symbian useless , windows phone 7 blows .. Nokia has given us allot of cool and interesting advancements but did one stupid and posibly fatal mistake. It didnt put all those inovasions into one phone and under a proper OS

I think it does not matter on the processor.
The advantage is where nokia symbian actually optimise and fine tune.
Therefore, such a slow process still do the job better.

Nokia is already in a bad situation because it depends on symbian till now...Android is better than it and If nokia want to back again the best company for mobile they should improve symbian to be better than android or use android as software for its mobiles!!
camera 41 mega pixel is not the solution for nokia and marketing and the consumers don't need cameras only...they want strong software to use it

If u need such specs, get a good pc or laptop. If android puts 4 or 8 processors on ur phone, then you guys say that's the whole point. Android wants to improvise the way you use ur cellphone. If Nokia does it, then they are fooling people??? You people may not like Nokia, but atleast be decent enough to appreciate the tremendous effort the people involved put in. And when in maybe few years, android comes up with a 20 or 40 mp sensor, you guys will go crazy saying its out of this world feat and stuff!!!!and trust me, I am not a Nokia fanboy. I use Samsung droid and the version of Android on this is pathetic to use!!! I will go for IOS probably, no more insecure and buggy Android for me!!!!

zico, 29 Feb 2012it looks like such a promising phone with all the features ... moreYou may think that 512MB of RAM is not much, but believe me Symbian never uses that much RAM anyways, with the N8 running Belle and having 256 MB of RAM it always has over 100MB of free RAM, so the OS is only using around 100-150 MB of RAM, so with the 512MB of RAM you will have over 300MB of available RAM to use, Don't forget that Symbian is truly one of the best multitasking platforms, sometimes even better than Meego which i'm currently using.

Its not the picture is not 41 megapixels. That would be too big, only the seonsor is 41 megapixles but when you take a picture its processed into 5mp. The 41 is just to get high quality zoomed in photos which other phone have yet to achieve.
