Gorgeous phone. Becoming highly collectable too. You can still get a good deal on eBay. But for how much longer I wonder? The signal is good, even in this deep basement that I live in and the phone itself looks and feels wonderful. Then of course there's the whole 'Matrix' connection as well. But be warned. Batteries are getting scarce, particularly the standard slimline type. Extended batteries are still easy enough to come by however though they are rather on the chunky side. And you'll have a hard time getting hold of the correct Data Suite if you want to connect it to your laptop as I do although the Data Cables themselves are, again, available on eBay. I love this phone. I would buy them all if I could afford to!
PS. I have service manuals etc so I can email them to you if you're desperate.

a very nice designed phone with superb functionality. It was made for the high end asian and european market. it is the father of the 7110. despite it is a monoband gsm. it is still a high performance. It has also priviliged ergonomics.Just a regret sad that the mouth piece is not automatic like on the 7110 and that has not a calendar, clock, infrared, organiser, etc. but it is a diamond that shines from 1000 fires till today. a reference among the top of the range mobile gsm phones. i will buy mine soon. thankfully nokia sends me freely the user manual coz i am registered at their club.well done nokia. i am not very keen on tiny lightweight phone.the 8110 is now a collectible that is also a reason why i buy mine soon.

The 8110 was the first mobile phone I ever bought - I bought a second hand one on ebay last week - its what a phone should be. (I also own a thinkpad butterfly keyboard model!)
