this was my first phone ever, it was given to my mom 8 years ago, then it was handed down to me 5 yrs ago as an elementary graduation gift..it was great, hadn't had much problems with it other than it doesn't switch to silent mode, i had to turn it off everytime..i like its size and shape..although i upgraded to a number of different phones, i could sell these, it's just too valuable...

Ah, my first upgrade. Great for jeans pocket. This phone has the best call quality i have ever heard. It had better sound than a digital land line. Also handled well while driving in a car with a louder than normal ride. Does anyone know what kind of bitrate or sound codec was used in this phone to get such great sound?

I dropped it in a pond and in a bucket of water on 2 separate occassions, took all the bits apart and put outside on window sill, dried it out and worked fine.
bearing in mind it was full of plastic parts, i don't I would have been able to do that with my Nokia N82

since the day i use this tough unit it never fails even after i dropped it into the toilet bowl, i put it in the sun for 2 days then it works again, I guess i never waste my RM1800 for it!!!

i simply love this model as i have my sweet memories with this mobile. i have no problem with this model never hang,never disconnected though i used to talk more than a hour. the best part is size very small and handy.

nokia 8210 is indeed the leading fone in its category., even until now...hehehe not being bias coz I'm still using one but to its compliment, it's such a great fone., i really love its style coz it has a touch of elegance.., well anyways., f ur purpose is just for calling and sending an SMS, then nokia 8210 is the right fone 4 u!!!

i am using this phone from past 3years its wonderfull phone comparing to other phone old modles.even it is an very lucky phone b'cos my love as been sucessed of this phone

I actually had the 8260 which looks the same as this one, but I loved it until I dropped it so many times that it would sometimes turn off when I squeezed it. It took a licking and keeped on ticking. I even dropped it in water once and as soon as I dried it out under a fan overnight, it started working again.
