After having samsung as my first mobile way back in mid 1999, I purchased my first Nokia in end of 2000. And 8210 was my first nokia.
In those days it was one of the most expensive nokias & looked extremely delicate & rich.
Even with the small size, the usage was very comfortable. wtiring long sms was no problem. The keyboard had a very nice feel.
Heads used to turn, whenever I used this phone.
Phone speed was very good & voice clarity was excellent. Signal strength was damn good. Only glitch i found was the body cover, used to wear off after a few months, so had to change it quite a few times. But thats ok.
The phone was extremely strong, & it had fell a few times, but still worked ok.
I used this phone for 2 years, the longest period I used any single phone till date. Finally gave it to my dad, when I purchased Samsung Blue i in 2003. And we sold it off in mid 2004, when the phone had started to give a few probs, like low ringtone volume.
But I must say, one of the best handsets ever made by nokia. And I hope Nokia gets this design n size back with features of N Series.

hey..i bot this fone(black) wen it frst came out..lost 2 of them over the yrs..used many other nokia models on teh side...includin smart fones...and now..in the 21 century..im still in love wit this baby..and usin a blue model presently.. wats gone wrong wit nokia?y no more models like this or 8310(another remarkable device that i used, and had stolen frm me!LOL-and i re-bought!).y cant nokia get innovativ and fix up somthin of this size and feel wit a larger screen and the rest of the modern jigs??i bet it wud sell better than any other model they ever brot out...ps: the present models&designs suk - not takin the teknology or functions involved into consideration. Peaz.

i think the same horia, nokia should renovate it because i love it, it was a great phone.

my mum used to have this phone, then she lost it, but i had actually nicked it coz i liked it so much, she must have liked it aswell coz she went out 2 weeks later and bought another 1 lol xx

I used this phone for nearly 5 years (since 2000) after getting it as a refurbished phone from my local provider. I've stepped on it after I dropped it, dropped it some more and someone even burned it with a cigarette. It wouldn't die! Used it until it literally fell to pieces. Loved it!

its one of the most beautiful phones ever created by nokia.they should improve this model, they should create something like 8210i, something with colour display polyphonic sound, camera ..

I think that this cute phone it's just cute and that's it! not to use it nowadays, cuz it really sucks.

My First Contract Phone...
A great design, i agree, they should re-issue this model in a 'classic mobiles' range or something.
Maybe see how many modern features they can now fit into the same form?

This was the best phone I ever owned. Small, sleek, stylish and functional. Great, great phone, better than anything Nokia are making now. What went wrong?

The screen was only dodgy when you used non nokia chargers, when only nokia accessories were used no probs. I've been using mine for 6 years, while a friend kept having problems with the screen every 6 months, 3 phones later we realised it was a dodgy car charger which was screwing it up

I have just bought this fone and it is preety good so far and i love the way it is so small all is it needs is a composer.

It was the best phone ever made. I used it until it has completely broken down into pieces.. It was not just a phone,it was a style of life, a point of view.. I wish nokia produce this phone again, as a special collection, so 8210 fans can buy it again.

The 8210 is really the best non coloured phone has ever made , am using it for 4 years till now and it never complain , i wish nokia to make it again , it's really a great machine

i've used a lot of phones in the past and so far, the nokia 8210 stands above the rest. phones with built-in camera's, radio and mp3 players is a good thing but what the heck? this device is designed to make calls and receive important messages.. not to capture pictures or listen to music.

I had 5 nokia phones.This is my very first phone I had it for 2 years,its really good!the best non colored phone around!its small and light too.This phone is also DURABLE.

I bought this phone brand new when it ffirst came out 5 years ago for £400! It was worth it. Even now it still does everything I want it to and looks the part.
